I purchased this item on 8-16-21 and it stopped making ice three months ago. I've tried to contact the company to inform them of the problem with no success in connecting with them. The phone number given me was for some sort of traffic control center somewhere. Though I purchased the item for my wife, she's upset and now I'm upset because I can't get in touch with the company. Though I purchased a 5-year warranty with the item, it won't take effect till 8-17-22. Therefore, I have no choice but to take this course of action to hopefully get some attention to my dilemma! But when it was working, we both were delighted with the ice maker and would brag about it! Thank you!Jimmie Mickens

I don't have any other machine to compare it to but it sure beats ice cube trays and all the gunk from your freezer shelf/food packaging falling into the trays and on the ice or flavoring the ice with gross freezer flavors (I'm a real fanatic about my ice water). It isn't a freezer but once the ice melts back into the machine, it just makes new ice cubes. So long as you keep water in it, you'll be guaranteed to have ice in it. And the water goes a long way! I get about 2 days out of one fill up with water with steady use (filling my 40oz cup 2-3 times a day) I definitely recommend this machine if you are sick of trays!

I purchased this ice maker and didn't realize how much we would use it. We are constantly filling 30-40 oz cups with water and this ice maker has come in handy to chill all of our drinks. It is convenient to use and easy to set up for use. This was a great purchase as we use it daily.

I bought this because our icemaker in our frig went out. It supplemented our ice usage while we waited on our new frig. It makes ice quickly and efficiently. As soon as the bin was full; we'd move it out of the machine before it could melt & put it in the freezer. This really saved us because at the time....we had company and it was hot as heck... it's been in the 90's here for the whole time.I can't really say how long it will last; but we haven't had a bit of trouble with it. It works as expected and was delivered on time... packed well. A real lifesaver for us!

I've had this for about 9 months, using it everyday except for a few long weekends when I was away from home. I remember being confused about how to operate it during the first few days, and frustratingly finding no ice when I thought it had been making ice. But once I understood what all the different LED lights meant, and the difference between when they are flashing or steady, it's been pretty great. The ice cubes, even the "large" ones, are much smaller than what I'm used to from my refrigerator. But it makes ice pretty fast and the cubes last surprisingly long in the unit once made. It's been in the 90's here the past few days and my AC is broken, and the ice is definitely a bit smaller and melting faster within the unit, but there's still always plenty of ice to take for our drinks. It's very good at staying "full" as long as you heed the "needs water" indicator. I'm really very happy with it.

So far so good. The igloo ones we purchased have not lasted past 3-6 months.

Update to my original post.....The company reached out and gave me credit to my Amazon account! I am very grateful for them reaching out and giving me my money back!It was very efficient and easy! Tried the self cleaning mode, seemed to work (?) Bought in April for me and fellow co-workers, work at a daycare. Was able to get ice for kids if they had boo-boos that required ice quickly. But now it's October and has completely stopped working. Plenty of Water, fan is clear, now the lights are flashing red. Tried Amazon, told me to contact the manufacturer since it was past the return date, tried the manufacturer....nothing.... No answers on her, YouTube or nothing. Great reviews every year but none on how to fix it when it breaks. Sad. Bought another one that has a warranty, extra $60 but for a daycare......we need something that works and certainly cannot afford the big machines. Wish this worked longer....
