Butter Buds Sachets of Dried Low Fat Butter 40 x 2g.

I suppose I thought the butter buds would, indeed, be buds or little balls, but each sachet contains a powder. You definitely don’t need the whole of one small sachet. For vegetables cooked for two, about a quarter of the sachet does the job, and gives a pleasant buttery taste. And with negligible calories so perfect if you are dieting/eating healthily like me. I know some reviewers haven’t liked the taste but I do and would recommend them.

For someone permanently trying to lose weight these are a god send. They have a nice, buttery flavour and are great sprinkled on a jacket potato or mixed with a little hot water you can spread (well almost) on toast, bread etc. I usually keep a few in my bag for if we eat out. Definitely recommend

Butter buds are a good alternative to butter if your trying to cut down on calories. In my opinion they are not cheap but all in all I was willing to pay as I wanted to add flavour to bland food to cut down on calories. Although generally pleased, I was disappointed that a few sachets out of the 40 (probably about 4 of them, though I have not used them all so far yet) contained very little powder which I suppose were missed during the manufacturing process. I have had a batch before which did not have this issue, and has not really put me off ordering again. If it does happen in future orders I will put in a complaint.

Really nice, do the trick and low in terms of diet, calories, syns, points etc. Great on a spud, in a sauce etc to give that buttery taste.

Add these to mashed potato’s for a low calorie option. Also good on jackets.
