It was easy to install and it works great.

Second replacement. Hope its better than the last.

Good fit, relatively easy install, good enough when new, but dead after only 6 month. Buy another brand, hopefully will last longer.

Checked on YouTube for replacement instructions. The philips and torx drivers supplied are a bit flimsy, and would recommend using better tools for the install. Otherwise it seems to be a good value.

I've used this battery on and off for 1 year 8 months on my XPS 9343. I bought my XPS used with a bad battery that started swelling so I bought this as a replacement. I don't use it continuously though, as batteries hate heat and I work from the house meaning my computer never leaves the house. So my usage pattern is this: I put it into the computer, use it unplugged till it's drained to 10%, plug the computer for charging till the battery is at 90%, unplug the computer and use it on battery till it's at 10%, plug in and charge to 90%, unplug and use to 10%, plug in and charge to 90%, use it to 55%, take the battery out of the computer and store it on a shelf at room temperature. I do this entire cycle once a month to keep the battery from sitting on the shelf and deteriorating. So far so good. Every time I put the battery back into the computer it's at the same battery percentage it was at when I took it out. I get a good 4 to 5 hours on a full charge on normal usage (browsing, word processing). Good product, comes in absolutely handy in the event that I need to leave the house with the laptop or whenever there's a power outage.

Won't hold a charge after 1 year

I bought this because the original battery on my Dell XPS 13 stopped holding a charge, and Dell wanted over $100 to replace it. I have never before replaced a laptop battery, and found the process somewhat difficult, but got it done thanks to instructions found on ifixit.com. The difficulty was not due to the battery itself, but is inherent in a small laptop like this, so I did not deduct any stars for this.The battery fit the laptop exactly, and all the screw holes lined up with those on the laptop. The specs (voltage and mWh) are identical to the original battery. The included screw drivers were a nice touch - otherwise I would have had to buy them, as I had none this small.Now my battery life is back to normal (4-6 hours, depending on how I use the laptop). If you need to replace the battery in an XPS 13, I recommend this one.

Easy to install. It's kind of intuitive, but I watched a YouTube video anyway just to be sure I didn't miss anything. I took it easy and slow and did not have a problem with the little screwdrivers. Battery fit perfect. The picture is from the BIOS powering on after installation. The battery is labelled "Excellent", as opposed to the battery it replaced which was labelled "Poor".Time will tell as to whether it is a long lasting battery.
