I have been using these sponges for over 46 years, initially to rid myself of blackheads, often suffered by young people. After regular use I have never looked back. My skin has rarely has spots and is smooth and looks young for its age. I realised in recent years that the exfoliating massaging motion probably has stimulated collagen development, which gets slower as you age. The Buf-Puf, although relative expensive compared to some others, lasts far longer so is actually excellent value. I use this now a couple of time a week, compared to 4-5 times when I was younger.

This product is good at making your skin feel refreshed and smoothe. It is easy to use. You just wet with water and apply your cleanser and use. Simple.

Great product. I buy these now because the ones I used to get from a high street makeup store have been discontinued. It is much rougher than usual 'exfoliating' mitts etc. that you can buy (that don't really exfoliate!) - I use it with my daily foam cleaner about once a week, maybe less, on my T-zone, especially my nose. Tip - cut them in half, through the width of the exfoliator (ie, keep the teardrop shape, but make it thinner). Not difficult to do with a pair of sharp scissors and a few minutes of patience. I find that they are unnecessarily thick, and work just as well when thinner, so this way I get twice as much use from them.

I fell down the rabbit hole of Buzzfeed recommendations when I purchased this. They had an article about an elderly woman who swore this product was her life saver and she'd used it all her life. Anyways, I bought it. And I love it! I feel that it does exfoliate enough for me and makes me feel a bit more refreshed. It's important to note that I am a VERY minimalist beauty user... a little BB cream, mascara and SPF. I use a gentle cleanser at night and some good old night cream.

I recall Buf-Puf sponges being thinner, but this one is thick, and does a good job washing my face. So glad to have it after using washcloths.
