I think these are absolutely the best for the price. Thicker than normal sheets and, therefore, more protective. Even though they are not realy thick, they have a protective layering... they're thick enough. Don't want to add bulk, just protection. They have a real felt feel... not the yarny feel.. they hold their shape. And, these are very nice feeling. Your plates are not going to clang or bang together and definitely these will discourage breakage. Very high quality... I've even used them under decorative bowls, platters to keep from scratching my furniture, they work like a champ... And I plan on cutting some of the smaller ones to fit smaller things around here. Great price... I even washed a couple by hand in the sink and laid them out to dry... that went really well.

Looked for something to protect a few pieces of hand-painted china plates and bowls. I am quite pleased with the thickness of the individual pads as some of my china has very detailed work. Definitely not the "flimsy" kind of separators included in the storage kits advertised on this site. This product works best with plates ranging from saucer to dinner; same with bowls-dessert to dinner. If there is detailed edging on your dinner plates, then go with two Lg size/dinner plate. Will definitely buy again when needed!

I ordered these and the extra thick dividers and found they both have their merits. If your dishes are flat and the corresponding sizes, these are great and a great value. If you have bowls or other dishes that require the dividers to flex much, these aren’t so good. I also had plates that these dividers were too small to properly protect. I used them for my dinner and dessert plates, but not for the salad plates or any bowls.

Looking to use these in as cushions between my pots, pans and skillets as well as stored dishes. These look like they'll do the trick. I think they're a decent thickness and come in various sizes. A little on the "stiff" side compared with the older ones I have. Made in China ( isn't everything these days) they do have a bit of an odor when I took one out to inspect.........but it might be from the clear plastic pouch they came in and I'm sure it will dissipate over time.

I love dishes and have several sets I rotate between. I use felt plate dividers for all of them (not just the ones in storage but also the ones I am using) and for all my glass and ceramic housewares. It really does keep your plates looking new, as the vast majority of wear and tear comes from your plates scratching each other. I normally use the blue Haggerty ones, but they are pricey. I hoped these would be a good sub as I needed more. They are MUCH thinner than my normal ones. They are fine to use with dishes you have in storage as they do keep your plates separate. However, they are too thin to use with the dishes I am currently using as I don't think they will stand up to the wear and tear of everyday use. I would recommend these for storage purposes, but not for everyday dishes.

I packed up Grandma’s china, and these did the trick. The sizes matched, and I feel like they are safe while moving.

The ones I received  Soft White Felt Plate Dividers 12-10", 24-6", 12-4.5" (Set of 48)  are not paper thin like some reviews have stated. They are thick felt-like material (like soft netted paper). But they are NOT WHITE. They are a light gray and they really show against my all-white china. The largest dividers are too big for my large dinner plates so I ended up having to cut to fit. But despite all that, they were exactly what I was looking for, fabric-wise.

I tried Hagerty & Evelots--but these white felt ones from Richards Homewares are the thickest & largest. They are soft felt. Very large!! I will use the other 2 inferior brands since I have them--but on dishes I'm unlikely to ever use again---I'm just storing them in my basement. But on my favorite China, I wanted something that will hold up & prevent scratching & friction when I move the stack of dishes. I've ordered 5- 48 packs now of this Amazon product. See my photo!

Does exactly what it’s supposed to do

Good quality. Do pay attention to the size of each fisc. The small one is fine for sauces. The middle size disc is only 6 inches and too small for starter plates which are usually 8 inches and there are 24 of them. I ended up wasting them all.

The description on the item did not give the diameter of the 3 sizes. I asked the question but never received a reply so decided to take a chance. I had bought felt and made some of my own - it is a lot of work. The saucer is 6” in diameter. This set has 4.5” diameter which I feel is too small. I cut out 11”for the dinner plate - the one in the set is only 10”. I decided to return which is simple to do. Okay if the size works for you.
