7.5′′ Fish Light Built-in Timer&Dimer

I decided to add a live plant to my 3.5 gallon betta and snail tank. My built-in hood light was insufficient, so I looked around and bought this light. It's small size is perfect for my tank, and the independently adjustable brightness for the white and blue lights means you can get the mix just the way you want it. The timer is great for giving plants consistent daily light. My daughter has a 70 gallon tank and says she wishes she had seen these when she bought the lights for her tank, as she could have saved hundreds of dollars. Update: I just ordered my third light of this type. The second was for an aquarium I am in charge of at the library where I work. It is getting a complete make-over into a 20 gallon community shrimp/nano fish planted aquarium. The third is for a 6 gallon Fluval Edge tank. The tank has a great look to it with the water all the way to the top glass, but the lights on it are inadequate. You can upgrade from 3 watts to 5 watts, but the replacement is about $45! So I took the 7.5 inch light I had bought originally, and found that if I took the rubber end off the light it perfectly fits in the chimney-like part at the top, along side the existing light. This brings it up to 7 watts for a 6 gallon tank. I love these lights and unreservedly recommend them!

I love it. The suction feels very powerful. So far it hasn't fallen off at all, I've only had it for a week though. The light can get VERY bright, it would work well in a 10 gal and maybe even a 20. I have it on the lowest setting or the second lowest setting for the 2.5 betta tank. The blue at night is my favorite. So far the timer has worked properly. I do wish I had the ability to time both the blue and the white so I didn't have to change it myself at night and morning, but overall a great quality product.

It’s a cute little light, and easy to set the timer and adjust the lighting. It isn’t a super bright light, but works well for my 6 gal betta tank. The suction cups aren’t super great though. They keep falling off every couple days or so

Bought this for a 10-gallon tank that we just set up and it is a nice little light. It has 3 modes, white, blue, and white/blue. It is simple to set up and comes with instructions on how to set the timers if you like to change the light for day and night.

A week in and I am very impressed with this light! Have a 2g hexagon planted tank for a Betta. Actual length of the 7.5" bar is actually just over 7" so was able to fit next to the integrated LED light in lid of this small tank. Had drilled 4 small holes in plastic top for a previous light, and zip-tied. Was able to fit this in with no changes. Perfect!! About 8" from lamp to substrate and have seen substantial plant growth in past few days. See both new growth small leaves, and larger established leaves at top are substantially larger than those grown under previous 'daylight' LED. Have white on 8 'clicks' so I think is 90%, and blue on 4 clicks, which I believe is 50% brightness. Timer has been working perfectly and shuts off after 6 hours as set. No it is not a full spectrum multi color planted LED lamp, but for basic lower-light plants seems to be working great. Would agree with other reviews that the lighted area is about the width of the LED strip, so plan your single or multiple strips accordingly.

The reason I’m giving only 3 stars is because I’m trying to making work the timer of this light fixtures for 3 days now from the day I bought them, and i can’t make them work. I called the Amazon costumer service and the seller don’t have a contact email or any type of communication services. Is free to return or exchange but when you go to ups store they charge you for the box and the label print out, at the end, is not a free return package or exchange. I decided to keep it and buy something else. The main reason I bought this light is because it comes with the timer, my betta bowl tank comes with a really nice light fixture but they don’t accept a timer, I have to travel the next week, and i need a light fixture with timer. I am at the same spot before I bought this!!! Both of the light colors are extremely nice and very bright with dimmer and To be honest they are really nice lights, but they were going to be better if the timer selection worked for me, the timer selection has three time options 6h the light turn red, 10 hours the light turn green and blue color for the 12 hours selection, it supposed to worked in only one of the lights options, i had turned them on and set the timer color but it never shut the lights back off automatically and never turn on the next day. I can’t tell for sure if they are damaged or not cause I had tried to communicate with the seller and they don’t have any way to contact for costumer service, so for that reason I’m very disappointed.

Absolutely love the lighting and timer function. I have several of the smaller ones and another of the larger ones, However the two suction cups won't hold at all on one of the larger ones, they seem worn out (used) too flimsy one cup is weaker than the other. I've had to take two of the suction cups from one of my smaller lights to get the larger one to hold the light up. Otherwise I absolutely love these lights. I guess I just got two bad suction cups.

This has been a great little light. I have it in a 3 1/2 gallon tank that I use for my quarantine tank or for hatching angel fish eggs. It is small enough for this little aquarium. It has 3 light settings - white, blue and natural. I like the natural light. It keeps my plants alive and shows off any fish or hatching eggs I have in there. I really like that it has a timer on it. You can have the light stay on for 6, 10 or 12 hours. You turn on the light to whatever color you want, then set the amount of time. It will stay on for that long then turn off. The next day it will come back on at the same time you set it on the first day.
