Amazon EssentialsMen's Full-Zip Cotton Sweater

First of all I love full zip mock neck sweaters and I'm appalled that I cannot actually find them in stores anywhere (yes there are one or two here and there). I was hesitant to order online because I can't test the fit or the feel, but I took a chance on this.It's my favorite shade: charcoal. It's a warm cozy feel AND has pockets! It's great for wearing in the morning when it's a bit chilly, great for the office when the AC is on, great for looking semi-professionalish as a professor. Absolutely love it.

And this was extremely comfortable the first time I wore it. It was a great fit was super warm and has great style.My issues began when I ran it through the first wash and dry. Now this may be one of those you shouldn’t dry type of shirts, but I’m a man and I throw everything in in one load. Unfortunately, it shrunk on me and no longer fits me well if you are concerned about sizing, I may order a size Hire to ensure that it would fit after Wash.

So so on comfort, quality and construction. Material is thinner than I expected for sweats. Not as warm. Cuffs/waistband are weak and loose. Zipper works okay, at best. Quality just isn't there. Not bad, just disappointing. Sort of what I have come to expect from Amazon Essentials. Essentially not quite there.

I’ve started wearing sweaters much more often to the office, as it’s always cold in our building, and I appreciate a zip up sweater because they’re easy to take off if you get too warm. After wearing one of these Basics sweaters for 5 or 6 days at work, I’m very impressed for a <$20 sweater. I’m 6’ tall and 175lbs, athletic build, and the size Medium fits my arms snugly and the body is relatively fitted. The pockets in the front add a little bulge, but otherwise I think it looks nice. I hate sweaters that are made for guys with a belly and look like a trash bag on me, so I appreciate the slim cut of these sweaters. I even bought a second color after liking the first one so much. I’ve only washed both of these a few times and hung them up to dry (to avoid shrink), but they seem to be holding their color well and the seams are intact. Overall, I can’t give it 5 stars because it’s not a thick “nice” sweater, but it’s definitely a 5 star value for the price.

Excc quality and price

I was pleasantly surprised how nice this sweater is. It has a light weight fabric and fits my husband well. I ordered the black color and the color held up with a couple of washing’s. I would receive this product.

True to size looks nice

Appears good quality, one quirky thing is the zip slider appears to be on the "wrong" side ie the slider is normally on the LHS I find but not so here. Works fine though! Sleeves a little long for me but its the collar I didnt like, its sort of reluctant to turn down and less comfy for me. Thsi was my first buy of Amazon branded clothing which is an idea I like so shall buy more.

Very thin material. Not at all what I expected. Advertised as "men's" but the zipper is on the wrong side this feels awkward to use. The fit is odd largely due the flimsiness of the material. I wanted a large and loose fitting one which this is but it hangs very oddly. Not at all happy with it. Wasted money...

I usually like to try clothes on before I buy but decided to buy this one on special offer price on Amazon. Not at all disappointed. It fits perfectly, really good quality and I’m very happy with this purchase.

This feels nice and looks good. Fits a bit big. Zip is as for womens clothes meaning its on the opposite side. This is a problem for the person who I brought this for as he is a stroke survivor.

This looked great and fitted well, but 2 months later all of the seams under both arms have failed rendering the garment unwearable. Very disappointed.
