Lightspeed Quick Draw Sun Shelter (Blue/Silver)

This tent is great! It replaced one of those pop up ones. This tent is extremely easy to assemble (and more importantly disassemble) . I'd say a minute from bag to fully up. The people beside us had one that you had to insert little poles into the holes and after uncomfortably listening to the couple argue, the dad storm off, then 15 minutes later finally get it up, we knew we had made the right choice! Slung over a shoulder it's nothing, maybe 5lbs?As for the tent itself we went back and forth concerned about the size. We were very happy that we decided to get it. For two adults and a two year old it was the perfect size (note: we didn't have chairs so I can't comment on the tent with chairs) what we liked about this tent is the base was wide and the way it is built the walls don't close you in. The mesh windows allowed for a really nice cross breeze, so much so it didn't feel warm in the tent at all. Our only concern about the windows was that they couldn't be covered for shade. Not really an issue. The windows square off about halfway up the tent so unless you are using it at sunrise, sunset, the windows will not be in direct sunlight.Overall for us is was very good addition to give some shade for a day at the beach.

After three uses at the beach, I would say this shelter works exactly as advertised and really is a 30 second setup/take down item. Very helpful when you have hands full with kids. Just be aware this is a smaller shelter, which is ok bc I bought it knowing that. It's probably big enough to fit one adult a child comfortably if you're sitting. The benefit is that it'd not an obnoxious beach item that blocks other's view, is very easy to transport, setup, etc. It functions well in medium wind with just sandbags filled on the sides. I havent had to use the stakes yet.

Love this! Bought after seeing my mom's costco brand in action and loving it. This is a fraction of the costco price and is exactly the same. Its super easy to put together by yourself and take down with minimal effort. In total it takes about 5 minutes to put together and take apart. I took it to the beach and just put my mini cooler in the back of the tent and didn't even need to add the stakes. At the end I just flipped it over and shook it out then broke it down and it was good to go.

This is well worth the money versus the cheaper versions out there. It literally takes 30 seconds to setup and tear down. My dog loved it on the beach, plus plenty of room to get in with for a break from the sun.

I bought this just before our trip to the beach and have to say that this is probably the best $50 spent in a VERY long time. I'm only 5'1" and not very strong, and I had no problems setting it up. When it first arrived, I tried it out at home once and was able to erect it in about 60 seconds, and it took maybe about 2min to take it down, roll it up, and put it back into the bag; even my 9yr old was impressed. :)Once we were at the beach, my husband was pretty impressed with how quickly we got it up and how large it actually is (hard to tell from the pics). For the most part, just having our little cooler and beach bag was enough to hold it down when it was breezy. One day the winds were a bit gusty, so I dug a little under the sand bags, filled the little sandbags, and had no issues as we watched other families' umbrellas and tents blow about. I never needed to use the stakes.I like that the instructions are easy to read, with good pictures, and is sewn onto a flap on the carrying bag. I like that the stakes come w/their own little bag and easily fit inside the big one with the tent. I like how quickly I was able to set up and take it down (and I think I saw some other families eyeballing us jealously as they struggled to put their tents together, or dig deep enough to stake their umbrellas), and I like that even after using it several times, I still have no troubles rolling it up and getting it to fit in the bag. I like that there is a small, nylon strap with a buckle to put around the tent once you roll it (I clip it to the bag handle while the tent is in use so as to not lose it), and I like that the bag has a handle on it (not a lot of tents and sun shelters have that, surprisingly). Oh! And the tent is light & compact enough that I can roll it up without setting it on the ground (a plus when you don't want to bring home half the beach in your tent), and my small-for-his-age 9yr old had no trouble carrying it.So, like I said, the best $50 spent in a long time. Considering the rental fees for the cabanas at the beach (which weren't much bigger) were $35/day, this more than paid for itself during the 4 days we spent there.

The Lightspeed Quick Draw Sun Shelter is a better alternative for the beach than an umbrella. It is light, easy to set up and take down, and safer than an umbrella. One adult fits in it comfortably.

I'm extremely impressed. Takes literally 20 seconds to set-up. Very sturdy. The sand pouches are great for stability. They could easily charge 2xs the price and would still be worth it.

We used this all week at the beach. Perfect for little kids to take breaks from the sun. Couldn't be easier to open. A little tricky to collapse the first time but after that you're set. Super light weight, provides great shade and has multiple anchoring points.

I have not had the opportunity to use shelter myself yet . I talked to a couple at Sosua beach who were using one ,they said they had used the shelter for several years and highly recommend.

Used for the whole summer. Used at the beach and park. Fast, Convenient set-up. Easy to store.

This product was fairly inexpensive, so I was worried about its quality. It seems sturdy, and goes up literally in 20 seconds, and maybe a minute to pack it back up and put it into its carrying bag. Recommended.
