The pom pom fell off right away, and although it's okay without it, it's still a disappointment. The inside is very soft and warm and long enough for cover the ears. Too bad they didn't secure the pom better.UPDATE: The seller contacted me immediately after my review and sent a replacement hat immediately. While my daughter knows not to pull it by the pom pom now, I'm still very happy with the general construction and quality of the hat and the company went above and beyond to be assured that we were happy with our purchase.

I purchased this as a gift and it is perfect! The knit outer layer is very soft and stretches nicely and the pompom is very cute and sewn on well. The interior lining is incredibly thick and soft and feels wonderfully luxurious.Overall, this is an attractive, comfortable, and ultra warm and I certainly recommend it.
