I purchased this on a whim that maybe I would get lucky and it would be my solution. I was dreading purchasing a new fob and having to pay $250 to have it programmed. I had heard in the past that the button get worn down easy and that's why they stop working. Guess what! This comes with a new button pad.I put this on my old fobs circuit board and put it a new battery. Works like brand new!!Don't spend your money on a new fob just give your old one a facelift.

This fob case looks good and appears to be well made, but for the one I received the 2032 lithium watch battery, that is the standard battery for this fob, would not fit in its place. There were some “nubs” that prevented the battery from dropping into its place. I used an Exacto knife to shave down the nubs, but after doing that the battery fit, but wouldn’t lay flat and the 2 halves wouldn’t snap together. Something was definitely wrong with this fob case and it was returned.

Replaced my old used fob, works great and easy to change over

All of these cheap fob's seem to be made by the same company. This one in particular was purchased in April and lasted about 3 months. About the same as the two pack I bought from another company. The value is good but the plastic starts to separate and break off in pieces. Eventually the entire fob starts to open up and the circuit board falls out. I'm not sure where to go now except buy a genuine GM replacement. It is, however, good for the rubber buttons if your original fob is worn down!

The key fobs that came with my car have shattered and fallen apart. The inside parts still were fine and I didn’t want to have to pay hundreds of dollars to get new ones from the dealership. I transferred everything from my old key fob into this shell and now it works just fine.

The value for the money was good but I was unable to add a battery as that compartment is faulty. Good thing I was able to transfer the buttons over to my old remote or I would have been more upset.

I got these about 2 months ago and I bought 2 of them. Within 2 months both are broken. These are not for people who drop their keys even if you drop them accidentally the pieces will not stay together. If you drop them they pop apart and will not go back together. Not very good quality
