BOSS AB-2 Two-Way Selector Footswitch (AB-2), Blue

Many of the other switches have a loud pop when you switch from a to b. This does not and is pretty much silent.

I bought this so I could switch between two guitars onstage without fussing over cables. It works great, virtually silent switching.I just wonder why there is no power adapter so I could permanently install this thing into my pedal board? On a similar theme, if I have to change the batteries periodically, it should be a convenient process. I think it unfortunate therefore that I have to carry with me a small screwdriver to gain access to the battery compartment. Small niggles, I'll grant you, but worth mentioning I feel.Overall though a good product solidly built, that does everything expected of it.

Set this up the day I got it. Easily to switch from one guitar to the other without unplugging. At first had a hum with one of the guitars. Checked the connections and found that it was my cable. Ground wire needed resoldered. Works excellent with no hum. Very satisfied. Was able to split 2 different wireless systems in one input and a third guitar in second input

This device has No external power jack and it goes through batteries like crazy. I wish they had on with a 9volt socket like all the Boss Pedals.

Works exactly as it says with the exception of the pop. You can hear it, it's not as bad as for instance if i were to unplug my acoustic electric guitar from it's preamp when its still into the PA but it is an audible pop. But not loud enough for it to deter me from recommending it.And it was shipped FAST. really fast.

I've been using it since I first purchase this and I'm very happy with being able to switch between my other guitar. I'm happy with my purchase and I'd recommend it. It should have had a plug in power adapter and that would be my only suggestion for Roland/Boss. AB-2 Iuses triple AAA batteries.

I have a total to 3 bases right now but switch between my 5 and 4 string alot. With this, I no longer have to unplug one to plug into another (a real pain during a gig). Works great.

I have several of these and found that over time the switch starts to bounce - one press of the foot changes from A to B and back again. Sometimes more. So I sometimes have to press it several times to get it to land in the right place.

Works a treat! There is a very slight pop in the PA when you switch from A to B but it's really not that noticeable in the grand scheme of other music/instruments going through the PA. It's very solidly made, a bit expensive I think but it certainly does the job.

This pedal works but you can hear a click through the PA when you operate it. Not a massive problem for me but could be for people who play really loud.

This is a good robust product as you'd expect from Boss. There are cheaper switches around but I guess you get what you pay for
