Kipper - Friendship Tails

These stories are what I like to call "gentle". The characters are soft spoken, the stories are engaging enough to keep my kid entertained for a while. And these are good enough that I don't mind watching them, too.

My almost four year old child loved the DVD. I agree with all the good reviews here and just wanted to mention two features which are just great.First: there are no ads. No previews, no advertising of any kind.Second: the dvd is not only in English, it can be played in Spanish. This is great.Ah! and the music is very lovely, some sort of soft jazz that accompanies the action very well. All in all a great buy, I will be adding other titles of Kipper to our collection.

"Friendship Tales" is probably my favorite of all the Kipper DVDs, especially the first story where he cares for a little lost gosling overnight, which is absolutely charming. But all the Kipper DVDs are really wonderful--my 2-year-old son loves them, and requests them on a daily basis. They are gentle, sweet stories with a quiet, gentle pace that is perfect for toddlers--a welcome change of pace from many of the more vibrantly colored and frenetic children's movies I have seen. A hit with both me and my son!

We love Kipper the dog! This is a cute show. Unfortunately, I accidentally ordered it when we already had it. Beware! If you click on buy, there was no, "Are you sure? " or any way of stopping it.

my 14 month old grandaughter has been hooked on kipper since she saw her first show on sprout.we bought her all the dvd's we could find .she can't say kipper yet but she makes the k sound and points to the tv.i am sure we will buy more if they make any.i recommend any of his tapes or dvd's.

My granddaughter loves loves loves Kipper; so much so that she often talks with a Kipper accent ☺️

A great video for my 3yr old! He loves to watch Kipper before nap time, its quiet play and easy going themes calm him down so he can sleep well.

I love how low key this cartoon is. It is slow paced, quiet, but still very engaging for my kids.

My daughter loves Kipper. Great DVD feature is auto-play and auto-replay for those hectic days.If you haven't seen the Kipper series its great for little kids. Relaxed storyline (no scary creatures or plot) and not too crazy background music to keep your kids entertained and not overly hyper. ;-)

My son has loved Kipper from the age of 6 months. It,s fortunate that we have a multi region dvd player, as for reasons I don,t understand this quintessentially English animated dog and his friends are only able to be viewed in all their adventures by purchasing region 1 products aimed at the American market. I would love somebody to explain the logic behind this to me... This aside.. I would advise anyone who reads this to go get yourself an aforementioned dvd player and buy this. Its a cracking dvd , packed full of episodes you won't see on any dvd,s sold in this country , or even on nick Jr for that matter. Watch this with your kids and you will enjoy it as well.

しゃっくりをしているKipperを見ることができる貴重なビデオです。Kipperは、あの手この手を使って、しゃっくりを止めようとするのですが、なかなか止まらなくて、大変。しゃっくりを止めるのに、そういう方法もあるの？…っと、新たな発見もあったりして、面白かったです。その他にも、いろいろなお話が収録されています。
