Can detect PET scan using 18F
I use this tool to scan everywhere in and around my house, even on ocean fishes, and banana, but it always shows only around 0.12 usv/h, so I even suspect this tool is actually working until my wife had a PET scan. I learned that PET scan uses 18F so I try this tool to see if she has any measurable radiation. Yes, the reading is about 5.0 on any part of her body when she just arrived home from the hospital. The half life of 18F is about 2hours, so the reading decreases relatively quick. After 24 hours, the radiation level on her body drops back to the background level.

The ZGKPDQ arrived pretty dam quick and was in new condition.
It seems to function as described and am currently satisfied with its performance. It lasts longer than expected with only two AA alkaline cells needed to render it functional. The background radiation here seems to fluctuate in waves between 0.24 and 0.08 uSv/hr. Typical average being 0.15 uSv/hr. Being a Geiger counter is less sophisticated of a device than a transistor radio, I am surprised at the cost no matter which one you choose. The cost must be due to it being a specialty item with relatively small market base. Lets face it, Geiger Tubes are from old technology.

Does what it needs to but no additional features and screen is a bit pointless.
Its an okay device. A little bulky compared to some but not bad. A bit annoying it doesn't seem to change the measure from micro sv per hour to say counts per second etc.Very basic. Screen is actually a full color display and fairly pointless but okay, somewhat annoying to get a speel about what radiation is every time you turn it on.Overall well its basic but it does function.

It is not a Dosimeter! Cheap Construction
this vendor claims this is a dosimeter... it is just a personal radiation alarm...that could be valuable but as described on Amazon, it is very dangerous... it is also very cheaply made...the vendor saying it is a dosimeter is very harmful to people who believe them...i immediately requested a return it & the vendor had five days to send me return instructions... he has not... so im gonna need to get rid of a device that is clearly marked radioactive.so the vendor doesnt want it back but i gotta still pay to get rid of it...in case you are keeping track at home: the country of origin was China...

Does not work as manual says it should.
Does not seem to be accurate either. I'm Seriously thinking of sending this back.

Simple Geiger and inexpensive also
This is a very basic Geiger. I own six. Three are antiques. The hm Geiger is very simple without many options. That could be very good for someone who doesn't want the options. It does give similar readings to my other Geiger's.
