This is the best multi-tool money can buy (imho). I've owned many over the last 20 years and this is my favorite by a huge margin. I'm kind of mad I didn't buy one earlier. This tool has everything you need to cover 98% of bike maintenance and emergency repairs while out on the road. It's not for shop work, so the tools could be a little short for getting leverage (such as on cranks) or reaching carefully hidden bolts, but do your maintenance in the shop and this won't be a problem. I finally used the chain tool when I broke a chain 65 miles from home, and it got the job done, if a little awkwardly. It comes with a nice thick rubber band to keep it together in your saddle bag or jersey pocket, and it's great. My friends have the bigger version of this tool and it comes with a useless metal case. The rubber band is particularly great at keeping all the other tools against the body of the tool while you're working, making sure nothing swings out and gets in your way. Be aware: it's heavy. But the heaviness is a direct result of build quality and it will last for years. If that's an issue for you, maybe don't carry it while racing. This is the lighter of the two tools, but doesn't not suffer for lack of utility. Also, it's freaking gold. Now I just need to find a gold bike to go with it.

holy crap this tool will save you out in the field! I thwarted a loose brake on a fellow traveler bike, tightened the seat on another, fixed the shifter on yet another and kept the world from ending on a little girls bike by fixing the seat on her bike, get one its worth it.

The Crankbrothers 17 in 1 multitool should be a must have for any cyclist right after your spare tubes and tire levers. This is a compact (if slightly weighty) multitool that has every bit you might need and even includes a chain breaker in those events where you might find yourself with a broken chain and need to install a new one. It is well built and despite all of the tools is compact enough to stash in your saddlebag or top tube/handlebar pouch. Whatever may become loose or need to be adjusted on your bike, the Crankbrothers Multi-Tool should be up for the job.

Incredibly well made; entirely metal so won't break like other models made with plastic parts. Yeah this is a "buy it for life" multitool. I also find it inexpensive for its quality.

This thing is perfect size, I was worried about getting one with more functions and tools due to the size however they really did pack it all in! This multitool has some weight to it but not in a bad way, it literally fits in my tiny pouch along with my bike pump, and other miscellaneous items, that’s how small it is! Thankfully I haven’t had to use it on the trail yet but I love all the different size hex screwdrivers because my bike has a lot of different sizes. It also has a chain breaker which I also have not had to use. This tool is easy to use and heavy duty and should last me a long long time!

Bra kvalitet. Känns precis lika bra som mitt tidigare multiverktyg från Crank Brothers. Aningen mer raffinerad kanske. Mitt gamla verktyg som hör till en annan cykelväska, har fått slita hårt: då det alltid är närmast till hands t.ex. under sadeln. Därför kan jag med hög säkerhet hävda att det är bra och just därför jag köpt ett till. Över och ut / M
