On the whole great value
These have only had one or two outings so far, but look like exactly what I needed. They may not be the heaviest duty pole in existence - if you're climbing the Alps possibly look at something else - but I imagine for most other uses they're spot on. I just needed something short enough to put in a small rucksack that I can pull out when faced with a slope that my knees can no longer cope with on their own!Instructions possibly not the clearest thing ever - the trick is that there's a "hidden" (not really) extra segment up in the handle that pulls down and takes up the "slack", locking into place with a little pop-out button. Then there is also a telescopic section.Someone else commented that if you're under 5'8" these might be too tall, and they're possibly correct. I'm 5'8" and with the telescopic section collapsed it's just small enough for what I believe is the physio-recommended holding position (elbow at 90°) - however, if you just need the pole for occasional parts of your walking like I do, this may be less of an issue. There are couple of rubber "feet" to protect the ferrule - pretty sure these are only for use on paved roads, leaving them on in mud will probably result in losing them due to suction, as others have observed.

Brilliant
I have been using these poles for some time now, principally on long distance hikes where weight saving is important. They fold down neatly to go inside the pack easily when not in use. They are lightweight but very robust. When you have set your preferred height, they fold out to this height every time you use the poles. I have avoided using them in winter walking/climbing situations, preferring my Leki poles which are a bit heavier, but more solid. A great buy.

High quality trekking pole!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Fantastic item for my long walks to the mountain. The item arrived very quickly and I am very pleased with it. It is a good quality product. I got a knee injury so this will be of great help for long walks, especially going downhill to release pressure from my joints. The main advantages of the pole are:- It is very light but at the same time strong- It is designed for both tall and short people and can be adjusted to different heights, I had tried a different type of trekking poles before and they were a bit too small for me- One of the things I like the most is the handle, it is very comfortable, feels nice and a good fit for my hands- It is easy to carry as it can be folded and comes with a bag to carry it- It comes with easy to follow instructionsThe only thing that took me a bit to work out was how to fold it back, but it is easy and you should not have to force the pole. There is a tiny rounded button (see picture and video) that has to click when extending the pole in order to lock it. That same button has to be pressed to fold it back, then you put back the upper section of the pole and this will allow the cord that goes inside to fold.

The perfect hiking sticks for me!
First time ever I used hiking sticks. These hiking sticks are really light and easy to use. They came in very handy on steep hills. You can change the ends dependent on muddy or rocky terrain. You can also change the height of the sticks to fit to your height. I bought two sticks. They easily fit into my luggage when flying abroad. They are two folds. Delivery was also very fast and reliable. Very recommendable indeed.

Slightly too high
Folds up to a good size. Takes a bit of getting used to in order to open these up and ti secure them. I gave it one star less as it's slightly too high for me (I'm 5ft 3in) so I would have liked to be able to adjust it to a slightly small length.

Great Hiker Pole
Very pleased with these Trekking poles, goes from fold to pole very quickly and they seem very strong in use and are extremely light but firm, the best part is simply push the button and fold to go in Rucksack so you never leave them behind when stopping for refreshments, all in all great value.

Good value Poles
This is a good set of poles but were not easy to set up the first time. The instructions were not very clear. They do the job once you know how to assemble them. I have just used in the Alps and they do a good job. The adjust catch has been accidently released a couple of times and doesn't always lock fully

Good value, lightweight folding trekking poles
I bought a pair of these for hiking the Inca Trail and they didn't disappoint. They may not be as sturdy as some of the more expensive poles but were perfectly good for hiking on very rough steep trails and gave a lot of much needed support. They're quite lightweight and when folded fit inside a smallish daypack or can be attached to the outside in the bag provided. The length can be easily adjusted for different heights (I'm 1.6m tall) and for different terrain. I've had no problems with them and would recommend them to anyone.
