Comfort, at last.
Delivery was fast. Well made, does not creak. If it fits your body you probably will love it. I was surprised how short it is but as it turns out when I sit in the "sweet spot" in this saddle support is great, pressure where its supposed to be, does not hurt after my usual 1 to 2 hour rides. Cut out is well positioned and helps me enjoy the ride. Padding is fine not too thin or thick. Looking forward to longer rides to really test the comfort level. Expensive? If it helps make cycling more enjoyable its worth every penny.

Very good road saddle if it fits
Road saddles are tricky to buy online. This is the 5th one I’ve purchased and while not ideal, it’s a very good saddle. I’m 6’-1” with 33” waist, 170 lbs and I’m in my early 60s. I had a Fizik saddle I rode on for 10 yrs. Loved the fit, but wanted one with an open channel to reduce nerve compression. (As you get older nerve compression from cycling can reduce sensation of your other leg!). To me, this saddle is a little short as I’d prefer 1” or 1.5” longer with an extended open channel. Selle has some longer models so may eventually try one. I had a hard time finding a seat to fit curvature of my butt/bones. Tried 2 ISM saddles and loved their open channels and pronged open front, but the 2 that I tried were too flat on top which caused the rounded edges sloping downward to be uncomfortable. The Selle Italia saddles are classic curvature for road cycling and there are different models to pick from. This was the 3rd one I tried from Selle and it fits me best for road cycling. Sleek comfortable contour and lightweight with adequate padding. Texture of surface is a bit grippy - would be better with a faux leather or something that allows more sliding, but then again, this saddle has slight curvature to it’s shape so you are fit into it; for some riders this might limit how much you can move to the back. On long climbs , for example, this might be an issue for some riders that like to sit back on the saddle going up a long grade. I compensated for the lack of length but lowering the front by 2 or 3 degrees and on 25 mile ride today had no discomfort or compression of soft tissue. It’s a tighter fitting saddle than I’m used to but seems to work very well and open channel does seem to relieve my never compression issue. For most road cyclists this is probably a very good choice so long as it fits your body.

A seriously good saddle
I've put 200 miles on this saddle now, with the longest single ride being 65 miles. It's incredibly comfortable and I see why it's such a popular saddle. First of all, the center cut-out is a game changer. I was experience numbness on my old saddle (though it wasn't always that way; the problem developed this season), so going to the cut-out sadle IMMEDIATELY solved this. ZERO numbness. The saddle has very little padding, but it's surprisingly well suited to endurance riding (I have it mounted on my Canyon Endurace CF SL). It took about 50 miles to break in, but since then I don't even feel the thing. Perhaps after the 60 miles mark on my rides I start becoming "aware" of the contact points on the saddle, but it's minimal.. and that's pretty normal for any saddle after awhile. Still, for being such a short and compact shape, I find a surprising amount of positions on it. As advertsized, you can really ride comfortably on the nose of this thing and put the power down. Highly recommended. Just get it. FYI: I have 110mm sit bones and bout the S3 (130mm wide) version. Perfect fit.

Great road bike saddle
I love this saddle. I've spent a lot of time on the Power by Specialized and the Selle SMP Forma. The power was okay..very rideable...I think it could have used a slightly wider cutout toward the nose. The Forma is very narrow and unpadded. It was painful. The SLR Boost Superflow is the best of these based on my experience. The saddle has a nice flat area under the sit bones and one of the larger cutouts on the market. The flat rear portion allows me to feel stable and supported in more upright positions. Other saddle have more curves/slopes that leave me needing to lean on my hands more for stabilization. I can't ride on saddles without an ergonomic cutout. The SLR Boost Superflow has a long wide channel that extends nicely to the nose. It allows me to rock my hips forward so I can get my torso low and out of the wind without putting pressure on my perineum. The padding is sufficient to take the edge off road imperfections while not being too spongy. I bought the 145mm and have 130mm sit bone width.

Selle Italia Boost Saddle
Awesome, Awesome saddle! So comfortable for a fixed gear Track Bike! Very lightweight and nice sized for my sit bones. Just the right firmness for my track bike. A vey nice improvement from the stock saddle.

Creaky with ok comfort
Good for short distances but is causing numbness on my longer rides. After adjusting to a slightly more forward position for comfort, it creaks at the back where it meets the rails.

Just get it
This is the narrow version which works very very well. Very good channel relief and I’ve put them on all of my bikes. I initially entered cycling and was recommended much wider saddles, which caused a lot of issues with dry clearance and sitting skewed on the saddle. This has largely been resolved with using this narrow saddle, which has pretty good Thigh clearance. We’ll keep on using this unless something better comes out down the road

Product arrived faster than expected, but there was a cut on the saddle cushioning. Decided to accept it as it was a better price than local options. Packaging wasn’t damaged so delivery should have been fine

Mooie zadel. Maar wel beschadigd. Ik heb gemaild korting gehad. Anders had ik terug moeten sturen. Ik had die nodig. Op dit moment. Die zadel is gebruikt op een andere fiets bij jullie???? Jammer, dat was mijn mening.

Over the last 2 years I developed sciatica pain due to a lower back injury that happened when I was much younger. This issue significantly impacted my riding without pain. I tried several saddles including a specialized Romin 3D. Ultimately I settled with a Bontrager Aeolus saddle which seem to work, however when riding for long on indoor trainer i still had some discomfort. Hence got the Selle Italia, which is very similar to the Bontrager Aeolus, imo, but due to a bit more flatter and wider cutout I immediately felt this was the better choice. So far it is working perfectly for me to ride longer without pain. Let's see for howlong, but if I develop pain again I will not blame it on this saddle. It's an excellent saddle, with the right amount of padding , weight and value for the price.
