I purchased both the 'normal' size and the 'long' size, as I typically wear shoulder-length, low density box braids and crochet twists. Both bonnets are superior quality, and actually have satin in the INSIDE! The double layer is worth it. This brand does have another listing where the bonnet is just one layer--DO NOT get that one, as the inside of the bonnet is rough; I had to return it.For both bonnets, I fold the elastic band over the satin portion so that my edges will be protected by the satin lining. For the 'normal' size bonnet, the circumference is a tiny bit tight for my big head (the band folded back or not), but not unpleasant and not a deal breaker as the bonnet will stretch out over time. I did not have any tightness issues with the 'long' size and was able to tuck the very end of the bonnet under the front or back of my head under the elastic band if I wanted to reduce the weight of my braids or tuck my braids under a shower cap.This particular product listing (the double layer bonnet) does not stain your pillow case. This brand does have listings with thicker elastic bands that will (in my experience), so I recommend this particular listing instead.I highly recommend this product.

Well, well, well!!! Finally a bonnet designed for braids to be worn at night. No more of the time consuming activity to pinup or twist my braids together just to get a good nights sleep. And not to mention the amount of stress that it adds to my edges by doing so. Edges are protected by the thick elastic band. This bonnet is made of a great quality of material and is the perfect fit. I absolutely LOVE this bonnet!!! Every braid and/or locs wearer needs this bonnet. You will not regret the purchase.

I wear long braids all the time and this has been a game changer. Keeps them looking good longer! The thick bands helps to keep my baby hairs laid down too. Great quality material!

Best thing since sliced bread. I have butt length box braids. This bonnet has increased the quality of sleep by keeping all of the hair comfortably in one place. Since my braids are so long, they do bunch at the bottom making the bonnet a little heavy. The great thing is though, it doesn't slip off of my head even with the weight. I'm happy with my purchase. It also helps that the blue floral design is beautiful.

I was tired of my hair (locs) digging into my skin at night or feeling overly dry in the morning. With this scarf, I'm able to keep everything inside without discomfort and it's really reassuring to know that my hair is covered in its entirety. As someone who is picky about these things, this scarf gets two thumbs up!

Stained my expensive SILK pillow—I returned

This bonnet is long and has 2 layers. The band around the head is a little snug but I'm sure it will loosen up over time. I'd rather it be snug than too loose. When I do my 2 strand twist and put my flaxseed gel on the ends I can but my hair in the bonnet and it's protected. My hair is tailbone length but it's 4C so I have a lot of shrinkage. This bonnet is very well made and I'm mega happy with it.

Got it for my wife, she says: I like it and use it daily. The only negative comment is that the front black band is not tight enough so it slips away at night easily. I mostly use it during the day. Would have loved to be able to keep it on at night too. Still, happy with it.
