CLAM screen tent is simply the best!
What an amazing shelter. I was a bit hesitant at buying the CLAM due to the cost, but after seeing one in person from a fellow camper, I knew I just had to get one. Our trailer has some blue accents, so I decided to go for the Pavilion in the blue color. Arrived on time and unboxed it, and had it up in under 2 minutes. I'm sure as my wife and I get used to it, it will go up in even less time. It is just so easy to put up. There is plenty of room for a picnic table for 6 people, and can fit chairs and tables around the table. The CLAM is so well built. The material is thick and rods are top notch. We love the option of just opening the windows, or open the entire wall to even let more air flow through. It's the best kitchen tent that we have ever purchased. We have used it only once, and we had a perfectly sunny weekend, so can't comment on water resistance but when all the sides and windows are closed up, I don't think water is going in. When you use the included cords to tie down the CLAM, it won't be moving, even in high winds. We're so happy we bought this! We're hoping it's the last kitchen tent we ever have to buy. Well worth the money!

put through downpour test on its maiden voyage
First: the set up and take down were AMAZINGLY easy and fast. Second: this fits around the average campsite picnic table with room to spare, providing shade and coverage. This will probably fit a smaller, 3/4 persons tent inside, should you ever have a need for extra roof over your head, and a bug net around. Third: in 4 nights at our site during the first time we took this out, we had nearly everything as far as weather: heat, sun, strong winds, and a massive amount of rain - not a drizzle, a downpour, and it had survived and stood up to all of that. The net sides let in surprisingly small amounts of water, and the roof kept everything dry. It was a relief not to have to rush everything into the vehicle or to tent, one the rain came on. We just sat inside, and enjoyed our lunch, dry, cozy, and surprised at how it help up. I hope this lasts us a bunch, and we will not run into any issues in the future. Planning to use it also at our home location, to keep bugs out during bug seasons. Ordered the wind panels for the walls, to "improve on", and keep an extra shade/privacy/wind resistance during next camping trips. Did not need them this time, but just seemed a good idea. Maybe will get a ceiling fan, too hook up to the top, for hotter beach camping. It is a rather heavy item (but one average person can lift it), that needs some room to transport, so keep that in mind. Ours came in a nice bag, and with a bunch of stakes to pin it down during winds. We also used larger rocks to keep the bottom flaps in place, during the winds.

Wind Tamer
I travel a lot in my RV. I had purchased the typical pop up canopies from Walmart. These cost approx. $109.00 I lost three in a 2 month span due to storms and high winds. The amount I spent on these cheap pop ups I could have purchased a Clam. I purchased this pop up and have not regretted it for a second. This tent is study, easy to set up and it stays in place. I’m extremely happy with this product. And highly recommend this product.

Side panels for screen tent
These work well . just need one with the Velcro at top in front of the door, all the way across.

Adds privacy and a great wind block. Very easy to install.
These work really well and are very easy to install. You get three panels in one pack and for now that is all I think we will need. These will work on any of the five side walls of the Clam shelter to provide a barrier against the wind and for privacy. They won't work on the entrance area of the shelter so make note of that. If you want to cover all five walls however, it looks like you'd have to buy two packs of these and end up having one panel as a spare. The panels fit the wall areas perfectly and are attached by using the plastic hooks. The shelter has four loops (one on each corner) of the wall area. There are also some velcro sections on the panels and shelter that can be attached. They fold up nicely and can easily fit inside the oversized storage bag of the Shelter. Very pleased with them and will certainly get more if we decide we'd like to have the ability to cover all five wall sections.

Slows down a two minute set-up of a screen house into a ten minute set-up of a tent.
Quickly makes an easy pop-up screen house into a stand up tent. I use it for at least 2weeks every Summer.

Study and easy.
This was a great purchase and very roomy for three people and two dogs. Can even fit a table for games on a buggy or rainy day with about 8 adults in there. It has survived two storms already and we only staked it down, no guide lines. One storm we did tie it off to our camper in case it wanted to blow away, never did but we left it up without worry. Easy set up and keeps clean, keeps bugs out.
