Great brush, nice and sturdy. It's soft so if you need a hard brush because your hair is thick then this won't be a good choice

I love this boar bristle brush! It feels really good on the hair and scalp. It's a quality product and priced right, too.

I was excited about this brush since it was rated so highly and came from a reputable brand. Unfortunately, this brush is not worth buying, even for the very low price. The bristles are extremely weak and don't grip hair at all. Every stroke gives my hair static. I only gave two stars because it's comfortable to hold, is 100% boar bristles, has a nice wood handle, and does distribute dry shampoo powder better than just a plastic brush.UPDATE: after learning more about what Boar Bristle brushes are for, I see this brush in a more positive light. I was expecting it to be a detangler, but it's meant to redistribute your natural hair oils. I'm now pretty pleased with this brush and use it often. I have another boar bristle brush that was 10x the price that I prefer, but this one is nice for travel and when I have a lot of product in my hair that I don't want to contaminate my more expensive brush.

My husband had a hairbrush that was his grandfather's. He didn't want to part with it but needed a new one. We put it in a keepsake box but ordered this one that is a basic replica. The design is exactly the same. The bristles are great for his hair.

Works well, but isn’t very firm for smooth styles.

I'm usually a stiff bristle brush person but this one is pretty soft. I was pleasantly surprised though, it has become my favorite brush. It works well and I actually like the soft feel of it. I would recommend giving it a shot.

I use this for my babygirl as she has super fine baby hair and it is very nice to hold and do her hair. Not too big so it gets all the baby hairs. Bristles are stiff and work well to get bumps out of her hair.

The size, appearance and shape of this brush is lovely. HOWEVER, the bristles are so soft that it won't even go through my hair, which is thin and fine. It just rides over the surface of THE hair. it doesn't separate or detangle hair in any way.. WORTHLESS.
