Best brush ever
My cat is a extremely fluffy and luckily loves to be brushed. The picture shows just how much hair the brush has removed in the first 3 minutes. Best brush I ever bought. Will definitely be buying another for my parents cats and dog.

My Cat didn't like it
My long haired cat dislikes being brushed generally. I hoped this product would be simpler to use on her and quicker. But unfortunately it gets stuck in her thick fur and she finds it uncomfortable to have it pulled through her fur. One time it got stuck and she tried to run with it still stuck in her fur- I have never used it again, so it was a waste of money for me. It is quite a heavy tool also. I think if your cat can tolerate being brushed and is very docile they won't mind having this used on them. I have resorted to a very light cat brush and a lot of patience instead and it's a two person job!!

Amazing!
I’m so rarely shocked by how good grooming products are. They always seem to promise the earth and proceed to fail in a catastrophic manner! This grooming rake though is genuinely incredible! I have an 18 month old Maine Coon called Q and he had always fought me during his grooming sessions. It’s got to a point where he developed mats in the pits under his front and back legs and on his tummyI’ve had to resort to scissors (please don’t do this unless you know what you’re doing. It’s very dangerous to cut cats fur with scissors. Their skin is very, very thin and if you nick it, the bleeding can be bad!) and clippers.Obviously, I don’t want to hack chunks out of my beautiful cat’s fur, so I’ve had to look for other options.I’ve tried a variety of brushes, slickers, combs and gloves and they’ve all been fairly rubbish! Then I saw this grooming rake on a YouTube video and knew I had to give it a try.I started with the 9 blade side on his back and fur flew everywhere! I then flipped him over and started on his matted bits. Honestly, that part wasn’t easy as once the comb grabbed the mat, it would pull on his skin and cause him some discomfort, but over the course of about an hour and with lots of treats, breaks and fuss, I managed to get most of the mats combed out.I’ll be going back in tomorrow to try and finish the job, but for the first use, I’m thrilled! The best pieces of advice I can offer when using the rake are;Groom your pet outdoors. The amount of fur that will come loose will create a lot of mess!Wear old clothing that you don’t care about getting covered in fluff!Take your time and have lots of treats on hand if your dealing with a matting issue. This rake does work really well, but freeing mats can cause discomfort to animals.

The fur flew! 😊
I am impressed. This arrived speedily. It looks very robust and as if it will last. It has a choice of two sides. One has fewer prongs than the other. The blurb suggests you demat your cat first. I would not use this or any other tool to deal with a hardened matted area (I resort to scissors as the least traumatic option) but it did seem to deal gently with the early matted bits.My semi-longhaired moggie hates being brushed. She has been ill recently and her coat has deteriorated and matts even more easily.Armed with this I pinned on her down on my bed and the fur literally flew.Masses of fur came off. More than with all the other things I have tried over the years. Although this tool looks as if it could be used to plough furrows, she surprisingly tolerated it much better than a comb or a cat brush. I intend to keep using this, every day or two (if Her Furriness agrees). One caveat: most fur attaches to this tool. A substantial amount doesn't. Despite my best efforts in cleaning up, I awoke next day feeling as if I had been eating a fur sandwich next day.I would recommend this tool, especially for fluffy or long haired cats. It beats the glove, the gentle plastic spikey thing, the comb and the brush any day.

Review
Very good product, but the bolts are getting looser by the use which lets the metal turn back into my hand. Works well on long haired dogs.

Fantastic brush!!
I got two shih Tzus, 1 is a cross breet and he sheds hair.. This brush is incredible. It is amazing how easily and comfortably I brush his hair and the amount I brush out! Lot less hair on my furnishings and clothes. Fantastic product!

Best pet grooming tool by far !
From the get go ease of use for me and the comfort for my very long haired cat was evident. She was purring and rolling about in the fur "tumbleweed" very happily. It didn't pull at her coat or cause distress, which was exactly what I needed, as it removed so much of her thick undercoat with ease. Cannot recommend highly enough !
