Fast Fast Fast..... Beautiful Screen.......You turn it on and in less than a minute everything has loaded and you are working. Bought this from a company who sells upgraded brand new equipment and the company put in 8G ram. For my home computer it is just what I wanted

I needed to get a new laptop. I'd had my old HP for 4 years and I'm a pretty hardcore business user so it was starting to have issues. I wanted to get something with Windows 7 before I couldn't get it anymore because I loathe Windows 8 and 9 wasn't on the horizon for quite some time. The Thinkpad was my only option at the time so I guess "beggars can't be choosers" applies.Compared to my HP, which I loved, the Lenovo's design is quite clunky compared to my sleek and stylish HP. I can live with an ugly computer, but often things frequently just don't work properly. So I'll restart and suddenly, it's fine. I also have more frequent software glitches.I usually use a computer until it wears out, but as soon as Windows 9 comes out, if it is better than 8, I'll be giving this away and getting something else.

This is my third IBM/Lenovo and they cannot be beat for durability and reliability. (I have had Toshiba and HP before with less than wonderful results.) My second Thinkpad had XP so I used this excuse to get a new one, but I am going to strip that one and put Windows 8 (which I opted against on this computer) on it, Open Office, Gimp, etc., and use it to field my camera's WiFi-sent images (which requires W8) and as a backup. My husband is on his 3rd Thinkpad and similarly would not have anything else.

The one I received had the wrong processor. The screen is dark and not ideal but the durability is what I wanted. If it had the advertised processor, I would have kept and simply upgraded the screen. Sent it back and got lenovo Y50 which I love.

I ordered this computer and it was totally dead on arrival. GoGet was willing to substitute with a different computer, but even that computer just doesn't work right: it runs very very slowly, and crashes every single time I "wake up" the machine. I have never had this problem with any of my previous laptops, and it is extremely frustrating to work on this new machine. I actually dread having to turn it on every day, knowing that it will take about 5-10 minutes to get everything started.I have tried numerous software "cleaning" programs, and nothing works. Sorry, folks. I tried you twice, but you have disappointed me, big time. Never again.

My husband got this laptop for personal use. He's not a complainer, but he's not mentioned a new laptop either. "Perfectly acceptable" is my best guess for this one. If he hated it, I'd know. He uses Unix, umbuntu, and other stuff I don't understand or remember.

Love my T-430. I use for work and the keyboard is the best. Lenovo does a nice job with their support. Screen is very crisp and clear. Highly recommend.

Fast laptop and works great!

works well... no problems yet, its relatively fast, as compared to Win 7 machines... comes with 9-cell battery, so lasts long enough.

Only had it for a few day and it appears to work great! Fast!
