Bear bow
Durable only thing is the knock will fall off that holds the arrow. Need to super glue it on before it goes flying off. Great value for the money kids first bow great present for Christmas or birthdays and the beginner bow archery set.

Great bow if you can get it cheaply
If you can get this cheaply it's a great. In a sense that's true of a lot of things, but in this case it's made in a way so as to be able to be very cheap, making it a good, fun starter bow for a young kid who doesn't know if he's interested in archery or not. The rubber finger protectors on the string make it very easy to pull, though they do make proper finger position and release more important in order to get a halfway accurate shot. Just be prepared to buy real arrows if you want them to be able to stick into a target - the included "safety arrows" are blunt and will bounce off of anything more tightly packed than sand or loose straw. If you've got real arrows and a close target (about 10 yards) it's even fun for an adult to play with - and I recommend doing that so you can teach the child how to use this bow specifically. Note: for some reason the arrow rest (a black plastic tab) comes in the bag with the instructions, it's not factory applied, so don't forget to put it on before shooting.

A nice starter bow
Update: We tried it out Christmas Day. He was still on his pajamas, but wanted to try it. It was cold so he only took 4 shots. He hit the target with all 4. He likes it very much. I tried it out before him to make sure my makeshift target would work. On the first shot the arrow rest came off. I may use gorilla glue or epoxy for it next time. I shot 14 arrows after that and hit the target with all. It was quite windy and the shots weren’t terribly consistent, but I have no training at archery either. Overall I am happy with the purchase and would recommend it for anyone wanted to gauge a beginner’s interest without a huge financial investment. Original review: Bought as a present for my son. It arrived quickly and is just what I was looking for to judge his interest in picking up archery as a hobby. I'll update after he tries it out.

Good Starter bow to Gauge Child's Interest
From my son who I bought the bow for: It is easy to pull back. You can pull it to your cheek, but it is very light so you have to aim a little high"

Good trainer
Kid loves it. Easy to pull back but powerful enough to be able to practice.

Crappy arrows but decent bow
Arrow rest fell after first shot for one of the arrows. Second one broke within first 20 shots. Bow is decent for kids but I wish arrows were of better quality. Our son and I had fun for sure. Now I need to find some good arrows which will last more than a day. There was no target as mentioned in the description.

Great Value, Entry level Compound Bow for Children
Bought this for my son, as his sister had a traditional bear (also highly recommended). This thing is a beast for the price. The mounded grips are comfortable and it's plenty powerful for everyday target shooting. Since all the draw work is upfront, I'd recommend this at the 5-6+ year age group. My 4 year old was having a bit of trouble drawing versus the traditional bow.

Fun youth bow to teach young kids the fundamentals
I got this bow for my son (8) and daughter (10) a few weeks ago to teach them the basics of archery without moving to a more advanced bow. It has foam rollers for them to use rather than a release like you would use for a compound bow you may use for hunting. So far it holds up well and they are shooting at about 10-15 yards to learn consistency and shooting form. I do think they will move up to a bow with a heavier draw (I believe this one goes from 6-13 lbs) shortly but for $30 and gauging their interest in the sport I thought this would be great. It has certainly met the intentions of what we bought it for. Younger kids could definitely also use this bow as my two are probably on the older side but this was the first bow they learned to shoot with much at home. One downside is that it only comes with two arrows. We were doing a lot of walking back and forth to the target for just two arrows, so I bought three more which works out great. Doing it again, I would probably just buy it all together if anyone is looking for advice. Note that there is no sight or ability to put a sight on this bow but again, this bow seems more introductory to get kids to learn how to pull back and fire arrows than to become a marksman archer. However, for $30 you won't find much downside if you are trying to introduce your kids to archery at a young age.
