Nice and easy to install

Broke the pins in mine on my Yamaha AR230. This was an exact fit for replacing with just 3 screws and 2 wires. Easy 5 minute fix.

Needed the base to install the new bow light kind of a must have item.

This anchor light base fits the original hole size on my Triumph boat and I didn’t have to re-drill the screw holes as everything matched up however, hold on to your original screws because this base does not come with screws. Also the new centralizer plug that slides down the pole doesn’t fit into the new base to secure the pole (REALY) and the new centralizer plug does NOT have an O ring like my original??? So I used my old centralizer plug with O ring instead and it fits the new base perfectly so all is well now. The chrome cap is metal and looks the same as my old one but it didn’t come with a gasket??? So I used my original base gasket instead. I don’t expect the new cap to rust but am holding on to my old one just in case. FYI - I used dielectric grease on the internal base pins and also where the 2 wires go into the bottom of the base to help prevent corrosion. I then put liquid rubber over the holes where the wires plug into the base to help prevent water from entering. Just for the heck of it I pulled the corroded wires from the bottom of my old base, took a small drill bit and drilled into the bottom of the pins to clean it up, re-soldered new wires and sealed with dielectric grease and topped off with liquid rubber and now the old base is as good as new and I will keep it as a backup. This may or may not be worth your time to do this, it took me about 20 minutes to complete.

Just like the one I took off my boat the other lasted since 2003 and was still working but I needed a new light so I replaced this one too and added bulb grease so it should last even longer. Fast shipping and a great product at a fair price.
