Wonderful
Yes Ethel was a remarkable woman. This really left me wondering what could have been if John, Martin and Bobby had lived out their dreams for this country. What a loss for the world.

She is living history.
I am a child of the 60’s so many of the tragedies that befell the Kennedy family happened in my lifetime; this production was interesting and brought back feelings of those tragic times, but nothing new was revealed. It’s more a testimony to Ethel Kennedy and well done by a loving daughter.

what a truly lovely tribute to a very brave and strong lady
I am so grateful for this opportunity to know Ethel. She never lost her love for the people of the world despite how much the efforts for them created such personal loss, even as she continued to inspire her children to not shrink from that responsibility out of fear but to keep at it. I am in awe of Ethel. I am in awe of the whole family. Thank you, to the family, for sharing these memories with me.

BRAVO Rory!
After all the criticism and bad press this woman has gotten since the assassination of RFK, I was delighted to see such a funny and poignant tribute by none other than Ethel and Bobby's last child, Rory. Ethel is-quite simply-a force of nature. Her life has been part fairy tale and part nightmare, but in typical Ethel style this documentary does not focus on the many tragedies. It's her life story in her own words and in the words of the people who know and love her best-her 9 surviving children. And what a story it is.. see it for the awesome home movies if nothing else. Bobby and Ethel sure knew how to whoop it up! It's amazing how much living they packed into the 17 years of their marriage. I am still hoping to read a good, reputable biography of Ethel Skakel Kennedy someday but for now this film will do just fine.BRAVO Rory, for reclaiming your remarkable mother from the Jerry Oppenheimers of the world!

This is an awesome film. I have seen it so many times ...
This is an awesome film. I have seen it so many times but I had to have my own copy. Got the DVD on Amazon two days ago. I've watched the DVD twice already. What an interesting person Ethel Kennedy is. The best parts for me are when they discuss her life after she lost her husband and had to raise eleven children. Some of it makes me sad but it is well worth watching this movie. There is a point where her daughter tries to give her credit for the job she has done raising them and for all of their accomplishments but she just won't allow herself to take any credit and gives her husband the credit. There's something really touching about that moment. You will not regret buying this DVD. Buy it!!!

Very Nice.
Just imagine how much of a better country the United States of America would have been if Robert Kennedy was our President and Ethel Kennedy was our First Lady 1968 to 1976. This documentry of Ethel Kennedy was very educational and heartwarming.

Ethel Kennedy (her life)
It is a beautiful documentary by her daughter Rory (and also her other ten children). Ethel is one of the strongest women in US history. Her deep faith in God, her positive attitude and sense of humour have allowed her to not only survive extreme hardship in her life, but rise above it with tremendous courage and selflessness. She has no self pity.....she has continued in Bobby's work in many charities and making America a better place to live. She has instilled this work ethic in her children who also work for the betterment of people's lives. I have watched this DVD numerous times and still get something new out of it. She is truly my hero and if was ever granted a wish in life to meet a celebrity, it would be her.....

Very well done... Like watching home movies with the family
I bought this as a Christmas present. My mom LOVES anything and everything to do with the Kennedy's. She watched this documentary on HBO and she loved it, and wish that she could buy it, but I told her a lie and said that it wasn't available until next year. Little does she know she's going to be getting this year under the tree this year...
