Have worn these earrings constantly for the last 5 months, and they are excellent quality. Purchased them to use in newly healed (2-3 months) diy ear piercings (using the studex piercing gun) as the studex earrings were becoming irritating and the locking backs were preventing them from healing completely. The 18 gauge screw-backs were perfect for this purpose, smooth and comfortable to sleep in and non irritating. The 20 gauge butterfly backs are also great for my older (smaller) lobe piercings.Fairly certain these are surgical stainless steel, as they have not irritated my ears at all like some cheaper metals do, even wearing them for a week or more straight. Also, it was very important to me that they could be washed/sterilized - I have left these soaking in soapy water, alcohol, sterile solution, shampoo... not a problem. No rust, tarnishing, discoloration in sight!I have only one complaint, which is why I knocked off one star - when I received them, two of the screw-back earrings were machine tightened at a slight angle and no matter what I try (even freezing!) I cannot get the backs off. A few others were difficult, but not impossible, to remove. Oh well...

So the butterfly backed ones fit well. But the flat backed ones I'm pretty sure we're the wrong size because I had trouble with every ear piercing I have. I do really like them though.

Update: got them in my little one’s partially closed holes. After the initial pinch, she had no pain. She’s happy to sleep in them and now wants one that has a “diamond” I hope to find one that screws onto this without having to remove the earring.I love these earrings. They were hard to get in the first time but I realized that if you pull your earlobe down it slides right in because it aligns the front and back holes. Very comfortable. Gonna put them in my little one’s ears so she can stop pulling her earrings out at night because she doesn't like sleeping in them

They were difficult to put in, and I've had ear piercings since I was five. The bottom one is the screw back, the top is the butterfly back. They feel nice and don't pinch my ears. I'm really picky about earrings and have gone for weeks without wearing any because I couldn't find any I liked. I plan to wear these for quite a while.

But the backs for half of them are odd - these might be fore pierced lips.

I have six piercings and now I can have matching posts without getting poked. You can wear these to bed and leave them on 24 seven. I’ve had them on for weeks and they have never come unscrewed. That got me worried that they were going to be difficult to get off so I tried and I could easily unscrew them

These earrings are simple and cute. The screw back ones are also comfortable to sleep in, which was my main reason for buying them. The only issue I had was something others have noted as well - because the threading for the screws is the same width as the post they are very hard to get in, especially if you have fresh piercings. That being said, I'm glad that I bought them.
