My wife likes to burn wax melts throughout the house. I'm pretty picky about the smells in our home. I'm sensitive to strong smells, but if they're smells I like, it's fine. If I'm not a fan of the smell, she ends up tossing them out rather than listen to me complain! :-)We usually buy cheaper ones at the blue big box store. They don't last very long, but they're cheap and easy to find. The good ones, however - the ones you purchase at gift shops at the mall, for example - always tend to last longer and smell better than the cheap ones.These are some of the good ones. And they smell GREAT!I told her I was hesitant at first because it's the middle of summer, and I thought it would be weird for the house to smell like Christmas. But it doesn't. I thought the house would smell like a Christmas tree, but it's more of a refreshing fall-like pine scent. They really smell great. I like them a lot.We will probably buy them again when these run out. I'd like them a little more if they were priced more like the cheapo ones we buy at the store, but you get what you pay for, and these are certainly worth the cost in my opinion. And I'm really picky when it comes to what my house smells like. Five stars.

I was leary about using a strongly scented fir wax cube in my warmer with the 4th of July being tommorrow but I wanted to smell the fragrance in my very small bathroom.I have only used the wax cubes that they sell from a company with home reps & I have their plug in warmers also. The 1 fir cube has been melted for 2 hours and I had to put my nose up to the melted wax to get a faint smell of anything.These are not dollar store wax cubes so I expected to get a whiff of fir trees. Now my last lighter scent beachy wax cube from the other company didn't have much of a fragrance either but I thought this fir scented cube would be stronger as advertized. The wax cube melted fine but the near zero fragrance disappointed me.

I have a wax melt burner and have used all different brands of melts, but never any Claire Burke, so I ordered. They arrived in a tape sealed bag which included four packs. Each pack breaks into 6 fir fragrance scented soy wax cubes.The scent of fir was very aromatic from opening the lift off lid on the melts and they broke apart easily. I like the scent of fir and I appreciate that the scent is not overpowering since I'm sensitive to strong smells. These type melts are for scenting a room...and are not long term (1-2 days at most). The scent was not as noticeable after a day but that is to be expected. I do feel I need a separate candle tray for the darker melts though... This pack should last for the Christmas season.

Nice strong smell, we will use these during Christmas since we stopped buying real Christmas trees a few years ago, I've missed the smell the real tree brought to our house. I've tried many things to being back that smell and I think this is going to do the trick. The smell is strong so hopefully I'll only need to turn the warmers on for an hour or two in the evenings, that should make the smell last longer.What you get: 4 plastic packages that have 6 wax cubes. They were poorly packaged/shipped (in only a plastic back), so some of the wax was broken, but it doesn't really matter other than making a bit of a mess when opening.

The fir melts had virtually no scent at all. I've used Claire Burke products forever...but these had so little scent it could barely be detected by smelling the wax pieces. Maybe they were old or maybe this scent is not a good one to buy (first time for me), but my next order of the Original scent were room filling.

The scent of these Fresh Royal Fir melts is as authentic as could possibly be. If you want the outdoors, indoors, this will do it. At Christmas time it's absolutely essential to have these melts in your home, especially if you have an artificial Christmas tree. I believe the moment your guest enter your home they will comment about how great the house smells.The body's olfactory process works in a way that a strong scent will gradually become unnoticeable , even though there's still a strong scent present. But, if you leave your home, in this instance, for a while and then return, you'll be able to detect the scent again. The scent of these wax melts will linger at least a couple of days, naturally depending on the size of the room or area that is in.These Fresh Royal Fir melts may not be for every day use. The’re pricier than most of the melts I see available. Perhaps these were only meant for holidays.

These are ok, I was hoping they would smell my house more but they are not very strong. They smell good though, it smells like a Christmas tree.
