Skullcandy Uprock (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

These are great sounding for the money, and comfortable on my ears, I love them and recommend them to anyone wanting good quality that's affordable.

My son loves them and I had a pair I loved too but the cord is extremely long and unless you wrap it around your neck (which I don't suggest) or clip it up somehow, you ARE going to get it caught on something and the next thing you know either you only have sound in one side or everything sounds like it's coming from a tin can. Before I ordered these (2nd pair) and another pair (2nd pair) for me, I went to the office supply store and bought the clips used to bind stacks of paper too large for a paper clip. Now my son gently winds the cord and clips it to his shirt at the length he wants, which is what I will do too. Look, these headphones are flipping awesome, they feel good, look good and sound excellent, so to me, a little annoyance is worth it.

First of all, I bought the clear/purple ones from a Journey's retailer and the headphone sound quality was amazing and I never had a problem with them, quality never went down and it never stopped working until the day i broke the connector by snapping it between my phone and the arm of a couch costing me a new phone and pair of headphones.Second, to those of you downing these headphones for shortage, Have you ever thought of taking care of them? That might just make them last longer. Common sense might help in that matter, instead you do whatever and those headphones probably get banged and thrown all over the place because of carelessness. Mine broke because i made a careless mistake, but I'm not complaining, whining, and leaving bad reviews.In summary, these are an overall GREAT pair of headphones and I will buy them again if I break another pair.

I'm an avid listener of music and I'm a musician so I know more or less when something sounds decent. For the buck, these are really good headphones. They fit very comfy and seem really sturdy. The sound is pretty good and has nice bass but lacking a little treble but is definitely manageable. Like I stated, for the price, they do a pretty good job with the overall sound. Definitely recommend it for those who don't want to sell their right kidney for a pair of Bose, Beats, etc.

These are amazing on my second pair, i would say that these are better than Beats honestly the sound it perfect, it's clean clear and handles bass perfectly. It's quite durable the chord is durable too done the famous get up with them on and forgot they are plugged in to my lap top and the chord hasn't ripped from either end. Only thing is the fit it quite snug so if you have in earrings it does become a tad annoying over long period of time. But for the price it is giving great quality would definitely recommend!

This my second pair of Skullcandy headphones and honestly I will never buy them again. Both pairs (different models) had the wires inside the cord break near where the headphones plug into my phone. This caused only one side to work. These particular headphones didn't even make it a year. The only reason my rating isn't lower is that the sound quality was great for the price and the fit was comfortable and didn't fall of my head when I was working out.If you want a cheap pair of over the ear headphones and don't mind that they aren't very long lived, then these will work for you just fine.

I guess I didn't read the ad properly because I really didn't expect these to be such low quality.

I found these to be comfortable and I thought that their sound was fine, good. I am no audiophile. I did not have them long, however, before I had sound in only one ear. I have read that this is probably due to a short. I would probably not buy again because of this issue. My husband had the same kind and his also broke after a few months.

I was looking for a pair of headphones for quite sometime and I was thinking of getting a Sony headphone but found that its really common here. Saw a guy using these Skullcandy Uprock 2.0 headphones in white color in my gym and was really curious to find out about it and its pricing. And these headphones are not so common i have seen only 2 people till now using these headphones.I was first about to buy the white ones which was selling for GBP 19.99 but then by the time i decided the price went up to GBP 24 and then finally i came across these black ones and i bought it. These are my first headphones.The sound quality of these headphones is really really good ! It might not be a proper noise cancelling headphone but i did notice it cancelled out about 70-80% noise. The built quality is good but it could have been better. I did notice a lot of music detail which i couldn't notice it when i was using earphones. Its not like beats headphones but at this price i didn't expect a lot.The delivery was quick..estimated delivery was 6th Jan 2013 but it arrived on 4th Jan 2013. The packaging done was great !I would love to give 4.5 stars and not 5 cos a product can't be all perfect.

First of all, thanks to Amazon for its delivery. The headphones got delivered in just a day. Now coming to the headphones I would like to say that these are not the best, but again not the least. The design, is great according to me and the sound output is loud( I have a redmi 2 prime) the music is clear and feels solid. The bass is not deep, not in all songs i.e.in some songs you can feel the bass and in some it's just ain't deep enough. So on a 10 point scale I will rate itas:Design:8/10Flexibility:8/10Adjustment of Headband: 7/10(it's quite difficult to adjust the Headband when u hav put them on)Clarity:10/10Bass:7/10Loudness:10/10As these are my second headphones( first one was Philips shq1900) it is much better than my earlier headphones given the brand and the pricetag.P.s: the songs I played were of almost all genre(metal, rock,pop,classical, etc) and the headphones gave a pretty decent output.I wud only recommend them if you have taken look at all the headphones in this pricetag or like skullcndy brand I wus asay go for it

Better and lighter but no noise-reduction capabilitiesI had a Skullcandy 2xl shakedown previously which i recently gave to my brother..that was rather better than this..I tried out other brands, like Sony Philips and Sennheiser, before settling on Skullcandy Uprock..Pros:a- Extremely light weight. Surprised..b- No jarring or high treble (like sony). Smooth, excellent raw sound. Even the smallest sounds in the virtual sound tracks can be heard...c- Offers noise-reduction capabilities to a certain limit when inside house but not outside house..d- clarity which it offers is good but not best..though when listening to iron maiden songs you can hear each word properly..e-with perfect equalizer it offers sensible bass...not to great but too low as well...Con:a- The cable is a flat cable so caution should be taken not to bend it...b- The bass lovers won't like it much...not very high bass...Though pros are more but still i didn't find it amusing...I would not personally recommend it to someone looking for good headphones at this price....It is ok but not worth the money spent..I would say buy the skullcandy 2xl phase which is much more better than this one...These are better thn sony but not better thn sennheiser...

Firstly I Love the sound quality. Its amazing for such a low costIv bought and broken two others but they both lasted me about 9months to a year each (first time only one ear worked in the end n the second time you could hear the beat but not the lyrics to songs)Both times it was something to do with the wiring where you insert the headphones into devices so I've now come to realise you need to be careful with that part.This third time i bought it from amazon rather than a shop and it arrived on time but has two relatively small scratches on leather parts on both ear but not big enough to make me want to return it. Slightly disappointed because the ones I bought from the shops never had them...But I really like that it doesn't have any material going around the headphones. This is good because when it rains, the water just slides off the plastic rather than messing up the headphones altogether.Also that the headphone slightly tilted at an angle so they fit perfectly on ears (unlike the straight headphones that cover your whole ear)
