Review: Good quality spring bar tool - I was kinda skeptical about this product since others in the reviews have mentioned that it breaks easily, which wasn’t the case for me. It’s solid and reliable. It works as it should. Review: Very sturdy tool. - I wanted to change the bands on my Seiko Diver and my Citizen Eco-Drive Diver. So I bought this tool. I'm giving the tool 5 stars because it does what it's supposed to do at a reasonable price. The prongs are very sturdy and should last a while. How do I know? I abused the heck out of it. For those contemplating changing the band yourself, let me tell you, it's not that easy. The Citizen band came off without a great deal of effort. The watch is brand new and the spring bar is pretty small compared to the Seiko. Got it off without much issues using this tool. The Seiko 007J is a different beast. It's about 3 years old but hardly worn. I tried and tried and no matter how hard I tried, the spring bar would not compress. I used excessive force, causing the prongs on this tool to start to bend. Then I used it in the opposite direction until it starts to bend the other way. The spring bar would not compress. I think there is no other tool that would not bend under such force. I ended up taking a scissor and cutting the band away from the spring bar. With the band off, the spring bar would not compress. Mush have frozen in place for some reason. I ended up using a small wire snipper to cut the spring bar in half. The lesson is that the Seiko is much tougher to get the spring bar off. The tool is sturdy and would work under any other circumstance. My experience truly put this tool through excessive force and it held up.

Works Well & Holds Up
I was on the hunt for a band removal tool as I have always used dental floss but figured it's probably bes tto have the right tools and do it "the right way". I read a lot of reviews on many different tools, and really the reviews all seemed the same. Half the people said the tool was great, the other half had issues like the tips breaking. I just picked this one and jumped in. Mine came fast and I went to work playing around with some band options. I removed 12 bands from 12 watches and I have so far had no issues. The spring bar tool, to me, does not feel flimsy or breakable, so I am unsure if the reviews before me were simply by people who were inexperienced in removing bands or maybe they are not taking their time doing so. I have had the tool now for a couple of weeks and have used it at least twice a week since it has arrived. It works well and I like that it came with plastic caps to cover the points so I can just chuck it in my pen/pencil cup on my desk and never accidentally stab myself. The tool feels well made and seems pretty sturdy. I would recommend.

Great quality watch tool!
I was shopping around for a good, reliable watch tool, and was trying to decide between a Bergeon and this. This had good reviews and is a local company, so thought I'd give it a try. As soon as I received it, I was impressed with its quality. It also came with a few extra tips. One spring bar tip broke while I was working on a very difficult bracelet, but it was no fault of the tool.. I pushed it a bit too hard. There's only so much you can push a narrow steel tip. It has a lifetime warranty, so I contacted the seller, and they promptly sent me a bunch of extra tips. Great customer service and great tool.

Pretty good quality; nice tool easier than the freebies
I like nice, practical tools. This one works well for making swapping bands and pins an easier job. I've so far found it to be more durable with stronger forks than those freebies included with NATO/ZULU watchbands. One can use this to more accurately work with pins. The small fork side is good for maneuvering pins, especially with bands and watch lugs with a tighter fit. I'm pleased with how the small fork holds up to pressure on the pins. Those freebie tools were too soft, and would deform without much pressure. Plus, they didn't have as fine an edge as the small fork on this tool.

Good for Tudors
Tool was awesome. I don’t know why there was negative comments this thing allowed me to swap my Tudor Pelagos smoothly.

Esta herramienta para ajustar y desmontar los extensibles y pernos en los relojes no sera Bergeon, pero vale lo que cuesta, tiene una gran calidad en sus materiales y hechura. Incluye unas puntas extras. Compra muy recomendable!

Excellent quality tool and makes switching straps a breeze. Yes it costs more than many cheap spring bar tools, but when you feel it and use you understand why. This thing is well made and is built to last and I am very glad I spent the extra money on it.
