The chairs were a little tricky to put together, it took me 2 hrs to assemble the table and 4 chairs, which isn't too bad. Great size for my kitchen though and it looks really nice. It's lovely quality wood but the chairs aren't sturdy, they're quite delicate. I'm looking forward to using it at Christmas when my daughter and her boyfriend are staying with me. Overall I'd recommend this table and chairs, especially if you lack space for a larger set.

I spent a good six months looking for a table and chairs that I liked and eventually came across these which seemed to tick a lot of boxes. They fit in well in my kitchen, not taking up too much space but there is plenty of room for two people. The drop leaf part is handy but we tend to leave it up most of the time.As well eating our meals, we use it as an extra desk, jigsaw table and a craft table too. It arrived well packaged and was easy enough to put together. There were some minor imperfections but I expected that as you always get that with cheaper wood. I am cautious of making any marks or dents in it so always make sure we use table mats for dining and boards for jigsaws and crafts. The padding on the chairs is quite thin but I have sat in them for hours at a time when working and they are fine.Overall, I am very happy with this dining set. It is practical, fits in well and too and it has a nice mellow colour and looks good in my beech kitchen. If you are looking for a dining set that is small, without being tiny, this is well worth considering.

Table arrived today, Well packaged and was easily assembled by my partner. It came with all screws/allen key and only the legs needed to be attached.Was worried about ordering a heavy item as I live in a low rise flat with no lift however package was delivered to my door.Table is of good solid quality for the price paid and after checking it over no scratches or problems were found.As I’m short of space this was perfect for the space intended and probably one of the smallest and best priced wooden drop leaf tables I could find.Although a lighter oak finish this does have a slight orange tone however this doesn’t ruin the look of the table at all.I’m quite impressed…Let’s hope it stays that way!

Liked the look of table and chairs

This item was taller than I expected. I hadn't realised it would cost £33 to return it if unsuitable. By paying for delivery and then collection when it proved to be unsuitable, I lost £40. This is a lot of money to waste, so I shan't buy furniture this way again.

Good size and fitted small space. Initially, thought good product but after four months one leg on chair broke. No excessive use and neither of us are too heavy! Fixed leg with brackets and contacted seller who refused to replace ‘as it had been repaired!’ They did offer partial refund so accepted this given refusal to replace. Could go to small claims court as repairing something does not remove statutory rights for something not fit for purpose and broke after 4 months and repairing something does not exclude rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979. So have a table and chairs with 1 repaired leg and £40 refund. However, shoddy treatment from this company and would not use again. Amazon processed refund quickly.
