Galaxy Buds+ Plus / Buds

UPDATE: I am a bit late on this update, but just haven't gotten around to it, and with physical distancing, wanted to be sure I gave them a little bit more of a chance to get out into real use rather than just sitting on a shelf in my room when not in use. The new case they sent me has worked much better than the previous one. Adhesive problem has been addressed, and has not had any issues for me. Obviously it can still come off due to the small surface area it covers, but it wasn't just coming off every time like the first unit they sent me. I did manage to leave it covered for around 4 hours this time, with my tablet and x3 500mL bottles of water applying weight to help adhere it longer term. I feel if anything, warm application (like wrapping it with a heated rice pack) *might* make it adhere better if put under slight pressure for a good length of time after, but I did not do that myself. YMMV. They sent me extra pieces of adhesive for each part of the case, but I don't know that I'll really need them. Nice to have, but will likely just go to waste as I'll lose them or throw them out. Just a tip, if you're trying to remove the bottom case (which was very difficult to do without feeling like you're going to rip the buds case apart), just simply press onto the bottom of this case to push the galaxy buds case up and be able to get a better grip of the base to pull it out. The bottom case is somewhat flexible, so I used this discovered trick to remove the original bottom case. I probably didn't need to replace this, since it wasn't at issue, but I wanted to give the entire thing a chance again to be sure. I give credit to this part for the adhesive and sense of security it had. It's definitely not going to fall out on its own. Overall pleased with the product now, and glad this has been addressed. Metal bar that wraps around is solid and trusting that it will keep good hold of the buds. You *may* have issues if jangled around too much and beating the heck out of it (such as the case popping open and buds falling out, or lid ripping off). At that point, that's your fault for lack of proper care of your own property, and not fault of the case. Would definitely recommend now, and if you have adhesive issues, reach out to the seller. They also sent me the case with some (p)leather USB-A to USB-C cable. Not sure why, but it was in the plastic packaging with the case. Wasn't mentioned at all. My guess as a gift to make up for the first batch of cases that had adhesive issues, but unfortunately I only use official USB-C cables now, from known and trusted manufacturers, just due to the security concern they present. I wouldn't expect to receive this if you purchase one, but who knows. Leaving this here for reference, in case anyone is curious of my original review. Original rating: 3 Stars Original title: Good cover, terrible adhesive Original post: The cover works as intended and seems to be fairly durable, protecting the case at almost every angle. I was initially concerned while browsing with the clips used to attach it. The loop on the case itself is metal and wraps all the way around the case, while the clip is metal and hard plastic. Seems fairly durable to me. The main issue I have is with the top part of the case. The adhesive inside the lid is super weak, and fell off within a day of application. Mind you when i applied this I left about 1.5L of water weight on top of it (three water bottles on top of my tablet on top of the case) for over 2 hours straight. The buds themselves were new as well, so there wasn't any dirt or anything on them. The bottom half of the case seems alright, but mostly because of a more snug fit without the adhesive, which in turn assists with holding the case on the buds in addition to the adhesive. Best route they could've taken would've been to attach the lid to the base with some flexible plastic hinges. This would've ensured it stayed together, and potentially be somewhat extra protection. Could possibly be fixed with a different adhesive, but that requires work on your end and more material, so I'm not counting that with this review. EDIT: They sent me "an upgraded version to solve the adhesive problem" in the mail, which arrived yesterday. I just applied this case and it is now sitting under my tablet again with three bottles of water on top of it for the next three hours, to ensure it has the best chance at staying on. Per the discussion with the seller, I will be back next week with an update on how this works out.

Originally after I've done an extensive search on other products, I was still quite skeptical because of the price. I was looking for other items that were a higher quality and more suitable to protect my brand new buds plus. Well, once it showed up I was sold! Not only is the product super high quality and works as noted and as described, but they actually included, which you'll see in my photographs, some type of a leatherette strap and a USB to see cable. I was quite surprised to see that added extra that was not in the description of my purchase. But they supplied a leather strap and a USB to see cable out of the blue. The product itself when I put it together as instructed with their clear instructions, went together perfectly. My big concern was whether or not if I turned it upside down, that means my actual original Samsung buds case, would the added weight open the lid. No. It works perfectly. Actually it's very stylish. And the other thing, was that when I received my buds a few days earlier, that I noticed that the shiny beautiful Samsung buds case was a magnet for dust. I used a microfiber cloth to clean it and protect it before installing the new case. And I had the case on for at least 12 hours today, and there is absolutely no dust on that new shell. That surface does not attract dust. I love the metal I love the durability feel and quality of this product. I love the fact that the adhesive will not harm this original case that I have. But the really cool part is for the price, is that it feels even better and looks even better than the Samsung case. Some was like what should be there when you buy the Samsung buds plus. What a great product for a super silly goofy price. I love the fact that it came with a clasp that I can hook it to my belt or backpack, but I can't believe that they sent me a leather strap with a USB to see cable that was not included in my purchase description. I would rate this five stars. Oh, by the way, they also included an extra set of tape just in case. But the tape that I'm using right now that comes with it is working perfectly. so I put the extra tape inside my buds plus original box with the instructions from this company's case so that I know where it's at just in case something happens and I might need it. But the tape seems to stick pretty well everything is 100% tight crisp almost as if it came from Samsung themself. I have purchased thousands upon thousands of dollars worth of goods from Amazon and a lot of these items are high dollar items. And I do a ton of research into products so that I'm not disappointed when that day comes when the mail carrier brings it to me. I have to say this was a bit of a surprise. The packaging was spot on. I still think that this company can sell it for twice the amount of money then they sold it for to me on Amazon. So I give it a five thumbs up or five stars and you know a whole bunch of thumbs. it's worth the money and it is a really pretty case and it does not collect any dust. It's simply somehow it looks brand new. The original case collected dust instantly and I couldn't wipe it off enough. Good job guys!

This is a great, simple case for your buds. It’s made of plastic but it doesn’t feel cheap. The black parts have a smooth matte finish which almost feels like a hard rubber. I was a bit concerned when I saw the stick on pads that hold the case to your buds. I was pleasantly surprised to find the sticky pads already applied exactly in the right place. There’s nothing worse than having a great product ruined by shoddy, crooked and cheap sticky pads. The case went on without issue, it fits so well that there’s no need to worry about it installing slightly crooked. Just pay attention to the orientation of the top lid. It’s not obvious (at least to me) which way it goes, luckily the instructions clearly show how to install everything. The extras are cool but not things I’ll probably use. The clip feels solid but the charging cord feels kind of cheap. This doesn’t bother me because I bought this product for the case, not a charging cord. My ONLY gripe (and it’s a very, very minor one) is that I don’t care for the earbud graphics on the top of the case. It could be just me but it feels kind of cheesy. I definitely would not remove a star from my rating for this because it’s such a minor detail that doesn’t even really stand out. In summary, this is a well made case that’s a phenomenal deal, you won’t be disappointed! *I purchased this product with my own money*

Great fit. It does make the earbuds case bigger. The price feels also quite high for a product like this. But great quality, can't complain
