Step2 Corvette Storage Chest - Red/Black

No assembly required!I love how durable this toy chest is. My son is only 18 months so he hasn't quite figured out how to open and shut the lid, but I like how I can lift and slide the lid so that it is out of the way for him. This toy chest is extremely roomy with a big opening so the majority of his toys fit easily. He is also able to pull out the biggest toys with no problem. The littlest toys fall to the bottom, so I have to pull them out myself at his age. I kind of like it, since it is the little toys that make the most mess in the room. At least (for now) he can't empty the entire toy box without my help.He is able to push the toy chest around his room, but the plastic doesn't scrap the hardwood floors.If you're planning on getting the rest of the corvette bedroom set, definitely get this too! Otherwise, I do recommend getting a Step2 toy chest. The hard plastic is durable, yet very safe for toddlers.

I am going to give the same review for the Dresser, Storage Chest, and Room Organizer, since you will likely be buying them all. They are built sturdy. They will probably last forever. They look great in the room with the bed, and the price for all four items isn't out of line when you are basically buying an entire bedroom set at once.The dresser needed a couple screws that my wife had to buy, and she said the bed was kind of a pain in the butt to put together. But it's a heavy duty unit, so what are you going to do?If you are considering these items, just buy them. They are nice, and built to last forever.

The look of this toy box is very appealing. Very roomy and holds quite a bit. The plastic is not as thick as it looks. The contruction is more like a big plastic bin with a big top lid.I am giving it 2 stars. One for the look and another for the size.There is no individual plastic wrapping within the box allowing it to rub against the inside of the box leaving scratches. I also received it in poor condition. The edges were bent giving it a white faded mark on all four edges. One side was completely smashed in and had to push it out, but still left a large dent. Definitely not worth the money paid.

This thing looks cool and is way bigger than I thought it would be. The top section is held on with a couple pitiful strips of weak velcro so I sanded the edges under the lid's lip and epoxied it together. The door on it is very flimsy which normally wouldn't be a problem but it's lack of stiffness makes it hard for my son to close it himself. Unless you absolutely must have the "cool" factor I would spend the money on a plastic deck box which would be much bigger and serve the purpose better. I didn't want this expensive toy box but my wife had to have it.

Spacious - will hold a lot of toys. Step 2 products are durable, well made products. Can't go wrong w Step 2 products. We even bought the Corvette toy organizer for our son's room for it to hold his smaller toys like all his hot wheels & Cars cars. However, we had that shipped to store via Walmart.com & that was a great experience as well. As well no shipping charges when it is shipped to your select store. It was Also the better price on this piece since Amazon didn't sell it.The price for the Corvette Toy Box was the best on Amazon. com & it was shipped to my doorstep in two days.

Bought it to match the bed we got. The bed is way nicer than this even though they are supposed to be part of a matching set. It uses the worlds smallest amount of the worlds most terrible Velcro to keep the two pieces together. If we had been able to handle this in a store we would not have bought it.Pro: Matches the sweet racecar bed.Con: Isn't worth the money.Now I need to go find a cb radio so my kid can talk to other car beds.

I've been looking for a nice toy box that isn't super expensive for all my sons toys for awhile now. Glad I picked this one. Got it for about $48 through warehouse deals, can tell the box had been opened but the box was new and stickers still on the sheet. Its huge and fits tons of toys, its like a big tote, the top doesn't come off easy which is nice. The opening wont smash little ones fingers. It also went together very easy.

This toy chest is awesome! The picture doesn't do it justice, I think it looks much better in person. The plastic is very sturdy and it's easy to put together and put the stickers on. We put all of my sons toys in it and it doesn't even fill up half of it (just showing you how big it is). Defiantly a great buy!

My 3 yr old son loves it as it also lets him get inside and play. Its quite big, good to look at and can be used with storage boxes, if you need further organisation.
