Works great
Perfect fit for 2013 Nissan Rogue SL. Original hatch lock mechanism was fully seized up and would not stay closed. After install, no more locking problems.

What, trunk will not open??
Well it dies now, huh. Well engineered and if a good quality materials. On these crappy little cheap cars they do not instal a key for the trunk. Electric or nothing. A pain to open without it working. Yeah sure pop out the little plastic that covers the switch but sticking your finger in there and its not easy to move that lever. Not worth it, just get a replacement. Easy to install also.

Exact fitment
latches great and looks identical to the OEM part . If you want this to last, you must gently close your hatch. It was installed on a 2011 Nissan Rogue Fwd.

Inexpensive and easy to install
We were quoted $500 to replace the back latch mechanism by 2 different mechanics. $400 for the part and $100 for installation. We purchased this one and installed ourselves in about 15 minutes. It works perfect.

Item as described
The item did fit my 2008 nissan versa. I ended up returning it because my old one was working after some testing was done but I definately recommend this item.

Worked but way to attach to car tailgate without buying nuts and bolts.
Worked good but had not bolts and no way to attach the old bolts. Had to buy nuts and bolts to hold it in place.

very easy to install
car shop wanted to charge me $400 to replace this piece so i bought this for my 2012 nissan versa hatchback and i took the plastic panel off which i dropped and it broke but that was my fault. then i unscrewed the old one and unplugged the wires and plugged in the new one and screwed it in and its perfect. i had to turn my car on first before it worked i guess just to run power to it. but now it’s great and doesn’t have any issues.
