This is perfect! The letters are painted, not a sticker. It's heavy enough so when I pull the yarn it doesn't move and it fits large yarn balls. I was using an empty coffee can with a hole in the top :) the edges are smooth painted ceramic, not rough so no snagging. I wish I would've got one a long time ago!

A few months back, I purchased my first yarn bowl. I was one of those knitters that always pulled from the core, after digging around and bringing out a few rats' nests with the end of the wool! I got tired of the wool twisting and then having to "hang" the ball and untwist the line before continuing on. I then started knitting from the outer edge instead to flatten and loosen up the wool, and this cured the twists...but then I had a new problem --I had to chase the ball all over the floor. When I saw this handy little bowl, I knew it was a winner. I first thought of buying a wooden bowl, but then remembered that some wood from different countries can have a very unpleasant odor and I did not want that. This bowl fits the bill perfectly for what I wanted! I've included photos to show you its size in relation to a water bottle and a can of pop...it's not a small bowl. Heavy enough to not move on the table, large enough to accommodate a big round, "doughnut" skein, and just plain pretty in its gorgeous turquoise! I am very happy with my purchase and only wish I had one of these many years ago!

This is beautiful. It came unharmed. Great size for a regular ball of yarn. I gifted it to a friend. Just be careful. This is thin ceramic, not a heavy duty dining bowl. After a slight bit of tugging, the thinner inner swirl peice did break off. Nothing a bit of superglue can't fix tho!

I love the product but didn’t have less than a week it broke when I went to grab yarn out of bowl with out any force just a natural grab of yan very disappointing

I just received my yarn bowl this morning. It was packaged with great care to keep the ceramic bowl from damage. There was a "Thank You!" card within the box from the seller, which I thought was lovely. It is a beautiful bowl. The color I ordered is turquoise and the script on the outside of the bowl --- all gorgeous. I was pleasantly surprised by the bowl. It exceeded my expectations and I'm excited to use it. I'm already considering adding more pieces from this collection to my craft room.

I love this yarn bowl but 2 out 2 purchased are broken in the same area.

The yarn bowl was broken when I opened it. It was a gift for my wife. I fixed it and she was ok with it. The packing needs to be reconfigured to keep them from breaking.

I bought 2 in 2 different colors, The blue one I accidentally tapped with my foot while sitting on the couch and a piece shattered off of it. Didn’t even have it for 2 days.The second one (Teal color) arrived broken inside of the styrofoam and I was very disappointed because it was the only Christmas gift I got for my sister. I have thrown both of them away since that happened so I can’t take a picture.

Very disappointed ordered as a gift because it was beautiful, blue and deep only to receive it broken I would recommend ordering wood one as the outside box was ok but actual box was kinda crushed and resulted in the above
