This is the wrist "pin cushion" you want, but never new existed!
This is a very awesome contraption. My mother (90 years old), still sews everyday, I would see her always putting pins in her mouth because she had no where else to put them. I envisioned her one day accidentally swallowing one! I did some investigation and ran across this awesome product. It works really, really well. You just have to get the sewing pin close to the light green circular magnet, and it grabs the pin and doesn't let go. It also lines the pins up vertically all going the same way (amazing!), so it is easy for my Mom to grab the pins from her wrist. This is sooo much better than the pin cushions you see made out of material that you push the pins into and has a plastic hard piece that goes around the wrist that never stays in place. This Pin 'n Stow's wrist band is like the bracelets that you "slap on", and it curls around the wrist. It works great on my wrist, but my mother's wrist is so tiny it was slipping and moving around. The nice thing is, the "slap on" dark green wrist band is removable. I just replaced it with one of the Velcro ties my husband uses to hold multiple wires together. The magnetic light green part has two bars on the back that allows you to just slide the dark green "slap on" wristband out and insert the Velcro bands. The Velcro bands are the perfect size, adjustable, and stays put on my mom's wrist! Convenient Magnetic wrist pin holder
So convenient to be able to keep pins near your work. The only problem I have with mine is that the magnet slides on the wristband and sometimes goes under my wrist instead of staying on top. I need to figure out a way to keep it from sliding.

Good idea but poorly executed design
This idea is brilliant but the magnet that hold the pins on isn’t very strong so they constantly fall off. It defeats the purpose.

Good magnet, questionable design
This is a nice wrist magnet, but the magnet itself keeps rolling around the strap to the other side of my wrist. When I reach over to grab or leave a pin, it isn't where I started! Note: my wrists are very small, so people with larger wrists may not share this experience. This is well made, but I would not recommend it to anyone with a slender wrist.

Magnet is kind of weak.
I decided to go back to the commonly used non-magnetic wrist bands for holding sewing pins because they hold onto the pins better and have proven to be safer than the magnetic wrist bands that I've tried so far.

but it is good for quick
This is very handy for every sewing needs. It saves time to keep the pins handy on the magnet. The magnet is not strong enogh to hold many pins for long time, but it is good for quick, short storage while sewing. One problem for me - my skin gets irritated after wearing the band for hours. When the temp is higher and I get sweaty, it gives me rash. I must be allergic to silicone. So I made a simple sleeve for the band, and the problem was solved.

Convenient
So easy to snap on your wrist; so easy to drop a pin on it or get a pin from it. I did put a thin piece of pressboard between the band and the holder as it seemed slightly loose. perfect!

Not perfect
The magnetic platform that holds the pins keeps slipping around on the wrist band. Slips around on the band and ends up hanging upside down. Bump it and the pins fall off. Sorry I bought it.

Not good for sensitive skin or narrow wrists
I would have liked this magnetic pin keeper a lot but unfortunately, it caused a rash on my wrist after a very short period of time. I've tried cleaning it to make sure there weren't residual chemicals from the manufacturing process causing the skin irritation, but that doesn't seem to have made a difference. I think this problem is made worse by the fact that the wristband won't stay tensioned on my wrist (which is 5.5" in circumference) so the band keeps twisting around and the added friction just makes the skin irritation worse.I still like it well enough to set it on my sewing machine while I'm working but one slightly annoying thing is that the magnet itself is pretty narrow so all your pins end up bunched together in a half-inch wide space at the center of the plastic circle.Oh, and it helps if your pins are actually magnetic! My superfine pins (sometimes called lace pins) are stainless steel but of the sort that isn't magnetic. (Drat!) However, all my other pins are magnetic so I do find this useful despite everything else.

wrist pin
I've always had the pin cushion type so am getting used to this type but I like it

Good first impression
I haven't really put this to the test yet - I am hoping it will help when pin fitting slipcovers - but it appears to be comfortable & of good quality.

Good overall but moves around on the wrist
My main complaint is the magnetic round piece moves around on the wrist and doesn’t stay center. Otherwise it’s strong enough to hold the pins. Doesn’t hurt the wrist after long ware. It’s good overall.
