Cantu Leave-In Conditioning Repair Cream with Shea Butter, 16 oz (Packaging May Vary)

I’ve been using this for over a year now, I have straight black hair (in the photo my hair is wavy from braids overnight) and quite a lot of it too. I was told it was mostly for people with curly hair but it works really well for my hair type too! My hair is super shiny, much softer, smells great, and my head itches less. Best part is this is quite cheap and aids in the commitment to routine usage of this leave in conditioner.Sometimes I fear it may be too thick of a product in which case during the shower I simply wash my hair first and glob this into my scalp and leave it till the end of the session and quickly let water run through it just to dilute it and let it run through the rest of my hair. Outside the shower I’ll add more to the ends of my hair. It blow dries like normal.I guess this could also help with static and flyaway hair issues though it’ll dry sooner or later. Anyways this is pretty much the only product I’ll be using for the rest of my life unless I find out this is actually harmful in some way.Oh also it doesn’t give me bacne and my acne is frustratingly prominent.

I have been using Cantu Shea butter leave-in conditioner for a while now and love the results. Cantu Shea butter is a moisture based product that I used as a part of my staple product and regimen that I build for myself.I use Cantu Shea Butter Leave-in daily or every other day as a cowash moisture regimen. It leaves my hair feeling soft and detangled. I like the way it smell. I gently apply a palm side amount after I wet my hair and massage throughout my hair toward the ends AND part my hair with my hands and apply throughout my scalp. For my scalp it is a must. Like so many of you if I dont moistuize than I will see breakage. This product is great....I uses after washes and mostly as a daily water-based moisturizer! It makes my hair feel soft and supple.I notice there is less breakage and split ends since the use of Cantu. My hair is stronger, healthier and longer. Amazing product... I am usually not big on hair products because I think they are all fraud, kind of like weight lost pills... when I reluctantly tried this product... hmmm amazing is the best way to describe it.First things first, I found it myself and didn't get anything for this review (though I will appreciate a free case or free 1 year surprise or something something g😂😊😂). I have problematic hair, very kinky and hard to manage, broken many combs in my almost 40yrs of life... so I decided to try a Shea butter product as I believe that it naturally restores and softens skin so I felt it might work with hair so I searched for anything with shea on here and did iniminimanimo and decided to give this one a try. It was under $6 and it won't be the first $6 I would trash if it failed... product took its jolly time to arrive and I also took my jolly time to try it because like I said... I wasn't expecting it to change my life. My kids have the same problem as I do with their hair and I never look forward to Saturday's where it is all tears day from trying to make my girls hair.... I can't over state my joy with this product... I am super happy with product. Wish they would let me buy more than 3 at a time. 😔

I took off a star even though I love how the product feels and the smell is absolutely amazing. I got it to be a present for my younger brother who has curly hair, but when I opened the box for it half of it was gone because it spilt everywhere. I don’t think it’s the production company’s fault but rather Amazon’s. Since it spelled so good and felt soothing to touch it was a pleasant clean up. When it comes to how well it works on curly hair, I really don’t know yet, sorry.

I have wavy hair. While this is definitely a great product for people trying to control frizz or boost protein, I think this is meant for people with coilier/curlier hair than mine. I have to use VERY little product or else my hair looks a little stringy when dried. But it smells great, the texture is lovely, and it's easy to use. At the rate I'm using it, it will last forever.

Luck must have been shining down on me the day I learned about this conditioner online. For years I was using another conditioner that left my hair feeling soft, and helped it grow. Then one day I saw a blog post about Cantu, and I decided to try something different. The conditioner arrived within days. I co-washed my hair, then used this in place of my normal conditioner, then loved it so much I used it as my leave in too. That entire week my hair felt like soft cotton candy floating in butter. And I didn't have any tangles or kinks the entire week. I 'm completely natural with a mixture of 4A and 4B hair; and I have a tendency to get tangles if I get lax with my routine. Cantu Shea butter helped me detangle easily, and kept me detangled. I've rarely had tangles since I began using this. Also my curls are popping. Before using this I had to add other products so that my curls were defined. No more of that. I love this product and want to try the entire line.
