Very well made (seams are tight with no loose threads, zippers sewn in very well and they don't catch or drag), no problems in the rain (haven't tested snow yet), the side pockets actually hold my bigger then most water bottle without falling out, tons of assorted pockets in different places in and around the backpack that prevents almost any shifting, crushing or burying of smaller items, large padded center handle makes the bag feel lighter even when maxed out on space, straps are very padded and the lower back pocket is a safe for non fragile items (like a wallet, expecially when the bag is hanging from my wheelchair).

I’ve only used for a couple of weeks. So far, it has performed well. Comfortable to carry, seems sturdy. For the fraction of the cost of others ($60+) this bag is well worth it. Well made and carries my 15 inch laptop plus a mid weight jacket, travel pillow, hat, snacks, and other miscellaneous items, and still room. Plenty of pockets to organize everything! Cannot comment on durability, as I have only had it for a couple of weeks. But, I have not seen any issues with construction so, I expect it to last.

I needed a new backpack for business and personal travel; my Tumi one looks great, but the seatbelt like straps are not comfortable. This one has comfortable padded straps, is comfortable to wear, holds a lot of items in the various pockets, is waterproof, and even has a USB charging port. I have used it every day for several weeks, and am very happy with it. However, as some other reviews note, it does tend to "unzip itself." I initially thought that I was forgetting to zip up the pockets, because there are quite a few of them. But at least once a day, some helpful passerby would tell me: "Hey, your backpack is unzipped." I think you can solve the problem by keeping the zipper tabs at the bottom, rather than top, if you can remember. Otherwise, it's great.PS: I was trying to decide between three similar Matein backbacks, so I ordered all 3. I tried the Matein Business Travel backpack ($50), it was sleek, but too small and slim to carry everything I needed. Also tried the Matein Extra Large backpack ($72), but it was too big and bulky. Finally decided on this one, the Matein Travel Laptop backback, the cheapest of the three for $30 - just right.

My son has been using this bag for about two months as his school bag. We really like that it has a number of different compartments. He can put folders in one area, his computer in another, and books, papers, and pencils in other compartments. The straps and zippers seem to be of good quality. The plug-in for a phone and charger is cool, but he hasn't used it yet. I think one other thing I would like on a bag like this is a strap or attachment mechanism between the two straps once the bag is put on. This helps keep the straps from slipping off and keeps the bag snuggly on the back. But this is a great backpack.

Caveat-my rising college freshman hasn’t actually used this at college yet. That being said, this seems very well made. It’s well padded, has lots of pockets for organization, and passed our in-home water resistance test. The zippers work well, maybe a little too well. My freshman is going to have to remember to zip everything to one side or buy a carabiner to hook the zips together so they don’t separate.UPDATE: A year & half later it’s still going strong. My kid is halfway through sophomore year—with two majors and two part-time jobs— and it barely looks used. It’s held up well to rainy/snowy treks to campus & cramped seating on public transportation.

I was looking for a bag that would fit the measurements for Jet Blue as a personal item. When I received it, I was not entirely convinced by the build quality, but for the price I thought I would give it a go. I was wrong. I have been using it for 6 months and it has continued to impress me. I think I tend to overload it with a camera, 3 lenses, 15.6" laptop, 10" tablet and other sundries. In fact it may be just a little too big for a day pack, great for a small weekend bag and I'm sure for a college or school bag. The charging port is a great idea, although I think the size of cable used means charging doesn't happen as quickly as it could do. The variety of compartment and pockets within the compartments gives a great amount of flexibility for organisation. This is currently my most used travel bag, and I would recommend it for anyone looking for a backpack of this size.

Over the last 25 years I have used exactly two Swiss Gear backpacks (as my briefcase) because they are so durable and hold up so well. This bag appears well-built, plenty of room, and some nice features including the hidden pocket on the back. Only time will tell how durable this bag is, but at the moment I would say it’s a bargain for the money paid.Two-year update: Buy the bag! I am hard on bags, but this has weathered everything I have thrown at it. Still like new. Highly recommend.

Me gustó mucho, llegó antes de lo esperado. Es súper prática, tiene muchas bolsas internas y externas. Leí muchas recomendaciones buenas y malas, pero la verdad, las buenas tienen razón. Material excelente, buen tamaño, la use para un vuelo largo y con bastante peso, y fue super cómoda y práctica.

I love this backpack. It has TWO main compartments one for laptop and electronics and the second for other travel essentials. Plus there is a hidden back pocket and several in front.It is really durable with quality zippers and toggles. It alos has a luggage strap across the back to attach to your suitcase.Super pleased with this.
