My cat, too, is extremely picky - won't eat anything but patte until this, Now she won't eat the patte food I have in large quantities. .Just like the other respondent said. - My cat rushes over and licks the bowl clean- Eats every bit and all the gravy!

Q: Why does the price keep increasing so much??

I don't know, but I agree that it's out of hand. I bought 24-packs of 6 oz cans for $40 in 11/2020 and $36 in 8/2019, but now that the price is $54 (4/2022) I decided that enough is enough and have switched brands.

Thank you for the question, please see below for our sourcing: Chicken - The chickens we use are raised in a cage-free, climate controlled environment. The raising of chickens is indoors, and this allows for greater control over the diet, and as the chickens are not exposed to the elements on a regular basis, it is easier to monitor their health and wellbeing. The chickens we source are part of an Animal Welfare Standard that sets forth ethical treatment guidelines that help protect livestock and cattle at the farm, during transport and at the time of processing. The diet of the chickens is non-GMO. Beef Lamb - They are raised in Australia and New Zealand and are grass fed.the regulations in these countries is strict as it pertains to the humane treatment of the animals. Fish - All fish, except for tilapia and basa, are wild caught in the ocean. As for the fish, it is purchased directly from the fishing companies, and along with the catch, there are certifications from the ships' captains that the catches are dolphin and turtle safe. There is an entity called Earth Island Institute that looks to protect the environment and maintain fishing sustainability, and Earth Island Institute recognizes the practices of our manufacturing facility. It explains, quite well, how urban myths can become misconstrued as factual. I have fed BFF to my cats (and other Waruva products), for about six year now and all my cat's are puuurrrfectly healthy. The only thing I'd recommend is switching sources of protein on as regular a basis as possible. This helps to mimic their natural diet. In the wild, cats don't eat fish every day or birds, or ... I hope this helps to clear up the vitamin K3 debate. ✌ ..."Plant and animal sources of Vitamin K include two types, Vitamin K1 and Vitamin K2. Vitamin K3, or menadione, is a synthetic form of Vitamin K. By itself, it has little biological activity, but it can be converted to a more active form by bacteria in the gut and other pathways. It is useful as a Vitamin K supplement in pet foods because it is more stable and tolerates heating better than the other forms of Vitamin K. Advocates of “natural” medicine and nutrition often claim, however, that unlike these other forms, Vitamin K3 is toxic to dogs and cats. So what is the basis for this? Of course, the first foundation “natural” medicine advocates use for claiming menadione is harmful and should be replaced with Vitamins K1 or K2 is the appeal to nature fallacy. As I’ve already pointed out, this is a meaningless claim which tells us nothing about the safety of any food or supplement. So what about other, more meaningful forms of evidence? Well, to begin with, no case of toxic effects from menadione in commercial dog or cat food has ever been substantiated. Millions of pets have been consuming this vitamin for decades, so if the supplement were to have any significant potential risk, one would expect many documented cases of harm. ..."
