Better than the original Remington chain
This review is for Remington 16” Oregon Chain Saw Repl. Chain. The item was shipped directly from the seller and arrived in a timely manner and without damage.The chain is a replacement chain for the original (713-04090) chain for Remington RM1635W 110v 16” bar electric saw.Installation is easy and quick. The chain works well and is far superior to the original chain it replaces.The cuts are clean, and quick. The downside is the saw doesn’t really have the power to keep up with the chain causing binding and kickback. The simple solution is to slow down, which defeats the purpose, or buy a quality chain saw. Note that this chain is sold by OREGON specifically for Remington 16” electric chain saw and the packaging says “Low kickback saw chain...”On first use I noticed much more chain stretch than I would like to see.A 4mm (5/32”) Rat Tail file, or a 4mm stone on a Dremel tool used at 30 degree angle can be used for sharpening and touch ups.There is no indication on the box as to country of origin. The Remington saw is made in Mexico.

Great Chain Saw product
I have a 16 inch Remington electric chainsaw that I have owned for over 15 years. This replacement fit perfectly. Cost was reasonable and quality is excellent. And what a difference a new chain makes (duh) smiles.

This is so much better than the original chain on my remington electric saw.
This is so much better than the original chain on my remington electric saw. It has twice as many cutters. The saw handles the extra cutters with no observable loading. The cost is lower than remingtons replacement chain. I order a second one as a spare so I can keep cutting if it dulls. To date I've used it about 20 hours and still feels and performs well cutting fresh ponderosa pines.
