Japanese Buck Wheat Noodle Zaru Soba, 3 Lbs /1360g

The media could not be loaded.  The amount of Soba bundles of noodles I have eaten would number in the hundreds. They arrive perfectly sized and perfectly bundled from Japan. Yes they are fragile. But the Japanese seem to be able to cut them uniformly and ship them to America with no problem. I have experienced close to zero damage until today. Many people will pay $11 for 9 some odd oz. I never, ever break any in the cooking process.The thing is . . . No effort to wrap the individual package was made . . . No effort to secure the package, within the shipping box, was made . . . No label of fragile contents was applied . . The condition of the shipping box was horrendous - which by the way I do not care about!For those of you who will say, "It tastes the same," I can assure you that my extreme attention to detail in my food preparation is why I can continually serve exquisitely prepared gourmet meals. It is a state of mind. I did not return this product and I will consume it.
