Fire Force: Season 1 - Part 1 [Blu-ray]

Love this anime. One of my favorite shōnens of all time along side Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and Soul Eater. It was great watching the Simulcast being streamed in Japanese, it was just as fun watching it dubbed on Adult Swim. And despite the show being tremendously censored due to the Kyoto animation studio burning- it stood the test of time and stood out as an outstanding show.So naturally I became excited to see Funimation finally release it on Blu-Ray. ( Well at least the first 12 episodes of Season 1 )I'm VERY pleased to report that the censored sequences once kept have been lifted so we can experience this show in its fullest form and potential. Also the transition of visual / color quality and smooth definition portrays splendidly on these Blu-Ray discs. If I had to make a couple of constructive criticisms: Although the Japanese voice track does provides English subtitles for the viewer to read ... it does NOT provide English subtitles for the English Dub. Let alone give you option to just have any form of English subtitles on to read while watching the English Dub. As the owner of numerous Funimation Blu-Ray collections, which do possess an option to have English Subtitles on with the English Dub on, I was very surprised to see this lack of such an option.Having said that, the sound quality has been IMPROVED since its streaming / television releases which originally seemed to muffle out the music and sound effects to give way to the voice acting. This has thankfully been fixed in the Blu-Ray release and it is glorious to enjoy this show with the volume turned up nice and high!As a final note; it's really too bad that they decided not to release all 24 episodes in a complete Blu-Ray collection as opposed to small installments. However- you can bet that I will be purchasing the next 12 episodes the moment they're on sale. I'm only HOPING that any future Disc releases will have those English subtitles that I had mentioned earlier.Worth every cent to own this great anime and join in on the unique adventure. Definitely has my recommendation especially if you are a fan of Soul Eater!

The media could not be loaded.  The casing is a little bruised, but other than that it’s a copy of Fire Force Season 1 Part 1 so cool

Animation is good, voice acting is great. Beginning into song is the shizz. Overall a one of the most enjoyable anime I've seen in a while

Fire force has a good concept and story a good message for young viewers to be safe around fire and the message to teamwork is essentially everything to help everyone else around their team. I like the dub and sub hope we can get a second season of this anime in the dub

Much better than expected! Very interesting concept/plot for an anime.

Great blu ray of a very unique anime show.

Same creator of Soul Eater the first one was good the second season looks like it's going way off I have a feeling they might not have a third season

Fire Force is a ton of fun to watch! The story and characters are great and the animation is fantastic! I have only watched part 1 as of now so far so good!

Had an interesting story Near the end. The underline Story is ok, but the main characters past is what keeps me watching.
