Dragon Ball Super, Vol. 9: Volume 9

It had an amazing ending to the tournament of power arc and it is distinct whilst also holding elements of the anime. It carry’s a partial amount of a manga exclusive arc.

Great books, my LO loves dragon ball. And even though he is dyslexic and struggles. The small paragraphs and pictures help him visualise the book itself. The books are well made

Excellent volume. To be honest I would have been happy with just the conclusion to the tournament of power, but that is just half the book. The next story arc is introduced. In between the tournament of power conclusions and the next story arc there is a page to acknowledge the Broly movie happened, but is not going to be covered in the main comic volumes sort of like the Resurrection F movie. The action for the conclusion of the action packed and well done. I got a better understanding of Jiren's reasoning from the comics. I also like Whis secret reason for training both Goku and Vegeta at the same time. In the second story arc, I liked that Vegeta using tactics of watching a Galactic Petrolman getting the drop on three of the most powerful beings in 7th Universe. Also what Vegeta is known for his pride, turning into his own form of honor. If I have one disappointment it is the Broly movie was not covered in the comic volumes. Though I could always watch the movie again. Looking forward to what happens next.
