COUGR Mars - Not Machine Specific

Amazing sturdiness even on carpet. It took a couple of hours to build and before you put the beam in the middle it won't seem sturdy, once you screw that in it's super sturdy and great for cable management. A ton of space, great for a triple display setup. Unfortunately I don't have my pc yet so I haven't got to see all the lighting effects, but the usb ports are cool.During the build, you may find it hard when screwing the table in, some of the screw holes weren't very exact with the desk and it was a pain to screw some of those in. I recommend starting with the outside holes first, then work your way to the middle.Before I got this desk I was looking for a desk that had an entire mousepad tabletop. But then I saw this desk and I just had to get it. It looks so professional and badass. There was one review saying it's not worth the price, but if you think about it, you're getting a top-notch desk that's super sturdy, has great cable management, has RGB, has audio ports, usb ports, custom lighting effects, a lot of space.. It's definitely worth the price.

The headline says it all. I've reached out multiple times to Cougar customer service directly over the past 2+ months - phone messages, emails - with absolutely no response. I then went to the Facebook page and sent several requests for help via the link on the page - also no response. I attempted to post a negative review on Cougar's FB page to get someone's attention, but they censored me and it never posted. I did a lot of research before buying this product (for my son for Christmas 2020), but am extremely disappointed with my experience. Would definitely not recommend or buy again.

The desk is pretty sweet. Subtle and sleek. The material on the base was great, but the desk portion itself came damaged. The top pieces are not the greatest quality which is disappointing for the price of this thing. The top comes in 3 separate pieces. Both the left and right pieces came damaged. I would give this a 5 star if the desk came undamaged because it does look beautiful all put together.

I love the desk but one of the surface pieces arrived with a small ding in it. Disappointing, but it happens. Shipping things just carries some risk.Unfortunately, when I inquired about a replacement part and sent in a picture of the damage, they wanted me to RMA the part before they'd send me a replacement, which would leave me without a desk for potentially weeks.I get that parts cost money, but it's not like people would intentionally defraud for a totally useless single piece of a desk. And, I doubt they'd be able to re-use the damaged part, so there's literally no reason for me to RMA a piece of wood and be without a desk for weeks. This desk is over $500, that price point ought to cover the occasional replacement parts for customers who receive damaged goods.I've ordered stuff like this in the past, and when I sent in a picture of a part that was damaged in shipping, they simply sent me a replacement part. That's the correct thing to do, and any support department not doing this for their customers loses at least one star in my eyes. I'm leaving the review at 4 because the desk itself is amazing and I didn't want to penalize the overall score too much for subpar support policies.Currently I am trying to figure out if it's safe to sand down the sharp carbon fiber and maybe put some black paint over the exposed wood to smooth it over so I don't scrape myself on it in the future.

This took quite a while to setup but it turned out just as good as I hoped. It has plenty of room and because my pc is mostly dark, I can hide it away from prying eyes. It has the ability to connect to your motherboard so you can turn on and reset the pc from the desk controls.Building the desk wasn't too much of a hassle. Be sure to keep the bolts loose until the three desk panels on top are in place. Others have mentioned this and I did this. Everything fit together very smoothly and once tightened in place became very sturdy.

Great desk, very sturdy. Only thing I don't like/enjoy is the wonky connection for making the lights on the sides of the desk work. Kinda wish it had a wall wart, instead of weird cables that require connections inside your computer. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind getting inside when I need to, but not to rearrange cables to make a desk light up.

So many issue with this desk. Even with a desk pad the center coating rubs off. There is no support for Cougar products, their warranty is scam. Stay FAR away.

Came with some damage right in the front. Bf didn't see it until he finished assembling most of it. Anyway, still a cool desk! After getting the desk wired with your pc, it's cool how you can connect a video game controller, or anything to the desk's USB ports and start playing your pc games. You can also switch the led light mode to compliment your different moods.
