Holds the weight
In this pic is a chandelier...the hook isn't up in this pic, but it is now and I move the chandelier to it when we move the table and play bumper pool. Holds the chandelier great! and looks better than I thought blending in to my white ceiling.

I've used these for a few hanging plants and shelves and they work great.Pros: very sturdy once installed, not overly obviousCons: takes quite a large hole to install if not on a stud (the hook base covers it), the shape of the hook is oddly angled and a little shallowOverall, a good buy
