GREAT FOR THE MONEY!
I've been commuting to work for the past several months. I leave in the dark to get to work and needed a fixed light on the front of my mtn bike to help me clearly see the road. I own several tactical flashlights and decided to try this mount verses purchasing a dedicated bike light. I have not regretted this decision. This mount hold my Fenix PD35 in a stable and easily adjustable location on my handlebar. It is also easily removable (attachment mount and flashlight as a unit) when I'm leaving work in the daylight and heading up to the local mtn biking trails. This allows me to remove the flashlight from the handlebar for safe keeping when the trail gets bouncy and place it back in the mount when I'm back on pavement. I have see where others have commented on the instability of the mount while riding. I have not experienced any issues with stability in my pavement riding. I suppose this could be an issue if your were night riding on the trails but it is a non-issue on paved roads. Bottom Line: if you want to use your current tactical light as a bike like and be able to remove it for other uses this mount will work well for you. Life Is Good!

Excellent flashlight holder for my bicycles (and kids)
Excellent product.....probably a little pricey (approx. $20) for just a flashlight holder. I guess you could also use this flashlight handlebar holder on any round pipe/tube (ie. when camping or working) to hold your flashlight in place. Make sure this flashlight holder will fit your flashlight. Something very close to a 1" diameter should work just fine. I prefer this over a traditional bicycle light because I can always slip this flashlight on/off of my bike and still use it as a good flashlight. I also have these on my kids' bicycles too since they're most likely to use the stand-alone flashlight.

Attachment is easy and seems secure
It holds a fairly substantial light still while riding over rough terrain. Attachment is easy and seems secure, but I still girth hitch the lanyard around the bars, just in case. My only complaint is that it's really big and bulky. So, though the light detaches, it's not really practical to keep the mount on the light for any other purpose besides mounting it on a bike. This really wouldn't be a problem unless you're like me and use the same light for everything. It takes a little while to unscrew it from the mount, but it's not that big of a deal, just a design quirk. It's quick to pop off the light with the mount when I don't want to leave it for some one else to wander off with.

Does what it says
I just wanna drop in and say that this thing IS compatible with the Fenix BC21R. It's a tight fit, but it fits and stays there, so if your BC21R mount has been stolen (my case) and Fenix doesn't answer your support email (my case as well), you can just get this and save yourself $60-100 on a new light.Other than that, it is what it looks. The top detachable part becomes part of your flashlight, so keep that in mind if you're planning to move your light between mounts.

High Quality
Very high quality material, worth the money (at the time 17 dollars) spent for something that should last a long time (unless heavily abused). Although the structure is obviously a bit weakened from having 2 separate parts that attach together, the function works perfectly and allows you to remove the mounted light almost instantaneously. For those of us that prefer a stronger build that is solid and does not have a quick release function, it would be nice to have that as a different option.

Solid mount
My old bracket side to side adjustments was real loose, I was constantly readjusting it. This side adjustment is firm. It comes with different thickness of rubber gaskets to fit your handle bar and light. Very happy with it. I ride on bumpy asphalt and dirt roads, works great. Highly recommended. Andy

Check the diameter of the light you want to mount. It was too small for my Fenix bicycle headlight.
It seemed like a quality unit, but it didn't come close to fitting my Fenix BC21R bicycle headlight. The clamp diameter was too small. And if it was large enough to go around the headlight bezel, it wouldn't have a uniform surface to clamp to.

If you already own a small high performance flashlight,
Since I already owned a Fenix flashlight it was a very easy choice. The mount is secure yet adjustable somewhat as you ride. I like the minimalist approach of flashlight doubling as a bicycle headlight. When you remove the light from your bike "very easy for you or a thief" a part of the mount stays on the flashlight.
