I love this watch
I love this watch. I've owned it now for two years and it is the perfect watch for someone who just wants to know what time it is without having to go into a pocket for a phone or have to wrench a sleeve over a hockey puck. I routinely long distance run and swim (no diving) in this watch with no problems. It's so light I forget it's on. But the face is so clear that it's easy to see the time when you look for it. My only quibble is that the nightlight is so dim as to be nonexistent. That is more than offset by the fact that it is dead on accurate month after month without needing a new battery and costs less than a pizza. I just bought a second one for a friend.I also own a Rolex Submariner. It impressed nobody and keeps terrible time and I almost never wear it anymore.Update: October 2, 2018. This past August the watch band broke off about an inch or so from the lugs. I guess all the sunlight and pool water over the past five years dried out the plastic. The watch itself works fine and continues to keep perfect time. I’m tempted to buy a new watch band, even though it will cost more than replacing the complete watch, because I’ve grown so fond of this little over achiever.Update: November 2018. I shelled out $10 to get a new band. I had debated getting a new watch for just a few buck more but this one was so accurate and dependable that I couldn’t bear to part with it. Still going strong on original battery after 5 years.

Better and more practical than my automatic watch for outdoor activities
Awesome watch! I prefer this one over the classic, very well known f91w. I just think this one looks better, is a bit more sporty, and has 50m water resistance. I go outdoors a lot and I'm a bit of a watch enthusiast, so wanted something I could wear outdoors. I took a streamlined, custom automatic watch with strong lume, on a week long camping and hiking trip through several locations in the deserts of the American Southwest and scratched the watch up to the point that I didn't enjoy how it looked anymore. I ended up giving the case a bead blasted finish and decided had all been too much trouble. I took this watch kayaking and on other long camping trips and surprisingly are hardly any noticeable marks on the plastic case and I have too check under a very bright light just to see the slightest faint marks on the crystal (glass). There is usually sand, dirt, and small rocks everywhere and the watch rubs against several things when reaching into my backpack or kayaking dry bag, so I really expected this watch to look beat up by now. I've also worn this in hot showers while camping and washed it on several occasions - the soap and steam don't seem to affect it. Compared to the automatic watch, this one is smaller, lighter, more comfortable, fits under a tight jacket cuff much better, and really is hardly noticeable on the wrist. The rubber strap also dries off instantly compared to a nato strap for an automatic/analog watch, which is synthetic cloth but still gets wet and needs time to dry. The rubber straps for analog watches are just too thick to fit under a jacket sleeve comfortably. At first I thought the cheap little light function was inferior to the brighter "ElectroLuminescence" version, but I actually prefer this one in use. The cheap little light makes the display visible any time of the day, doesn't draw attention / disturb other people in the dark, at camp, or in the movies, and doesn't leaving you seeing a bright spot like the "ElectroLuminescence" version does when your eyes have adjusted to the dark. I've noticed that even with a good diver's watch, there is that transition time early in the evening when it's too dark to read the watch face but too bright to see the lume - the light on this watch doesn't have that problem. The alarm has also been useful for waking up early and catching the sunrise. It's enough to wake me up but not too loud as to disturb people outside of my immediate area. I just wish I could set at least 2 alarms and that the alarm could ring longer. This is now my general go-to outdoor watch that I don't have to worry about, and if anything happens to it I can just replace it for $15,

Best for underwater and business casual!
I work at a hospital as a dishwasher and I can guarantee…this IS the best watch to get that flies under the radar (flashy wise) and that is 100% water/substance proof. I’ve stuck my hands into above 120 degrees waters and the watch came out perfect. I’ve washed dishes in sanitizer for 8 hours straight and still this watch remains. This watch is the perfect business casual watch on the market for the price you are paying for it! I highly recommend everyone have atleast one of these in their collection. The only issue I can see about this watch is the strap…luckily for me (the the people with skinny wrists) this watch fits well but it is on the tiny side.

I could literally wait a few years before the time was far enough off to feel like I had to adjust it (for my standards anyway)
I believe Casio is one of the few companies in the world producing digital devices/electronics where you actually get more than what you pay for. It's incredible to sell a product with these specs for $12. This is a very simple, no BS wrist watch that: tells time (day date time), a few basic functions (alarm, stopwatch, light), solid water resistance/durability... and that's it. The particular W59 that I received runs about +1 to +1.5 seconds per month so far, which is simply astonishing. I could literally wait a few years before the time was far enough off to feel like I had to adjust it (for my standards anyway). Not all W59 out there will run that well, standard spec should be within 30 seconds per month. So, I'm pretty lucky to get one that is that good. I have done lap swimming with it many times for over an hour each time and no leaks so far (don't push the buttons while wet or underwater though... and ymmv). Keep in mind, the watch is extremely small by today's standards, the strap kind of sucks and the light is terrible compared to an illuminator back light. I don't mind the small size, and actually appreciate the light weight and fewer knocks on things. I swapped the strap to a tan nato (18mm fits, it is a very tight fit between case and pins, if you try this you'll need to be patient and have the right tools to avoid beating up the lugs/pins). The light is acceptable for me from a functionality standpoint... you can tell the time in the dark. Overall, it's a great value, and if I was traveling overseas, or doing any kind of outdoor activity I'd be wearing this.. or an F91... or a 5600... or.. well you get the point. If you don't like it, it was 12 bucks, so not the end of the world for most people. For the money, I can't think of a better value proposition.

Bonito e funcional
The media could not be loaded. Um relógio com objetivo simples, mostrar hora, cronômetro e alarme, além de ser compacto e resistente. Não tem muito o que dizer pois é isso que ele é. Po isso comprei
