love them
These are a great set of pans. I recently purchased a new induction freestanding oven (which I absolutely love) and had to get a cook set that is compatible with an induction stovetop. This set does the job. I only got the 10 piece because I am supposed to receive a new set of pans with the oven and I am still waiting for that. These pans contain no teflon and with a bit of cooking spray, oil, or butter I haven't had a single food item stick to the pans, especially those omelets or fried eggs.Side note: if you are at all on the fence about induction don't be. It is fully electric but cooks like a gas stovetop. I grew up with gas but bought a new house with an electric stove and for 3 yrs I hated it. Go induction and don't look back.

Goodbye carcinogenic non-stick surfaces, hello stainless that I can actually cook eggs on!
I can actually cook eggs! I use spray olive oil to cook eggs. I tried an oil with a higher smoke point (avocado oil) thinking they would be a better non-stick quality since eggs and other proteins stick quite a bit to stainless. BUT spray olive oil was much better; don't rub it, just spray and heat to a medium temp on the stove before adding eggs (don't add too early, let it heat). I said goodbye to the carcinogenic non-stick surfaces and I'm very happy with this stainless set.

Wife bought it. Husband messed it up
Please do your research before you purchase. I'm an idiot and put the heat wayyy to high and I think I messed it up. Other than that, solid product and for the price you can't beat it. Start with this brand until you're 100% used to cooking/cleaning stainless steel products and then go for the all-clad more expensive brands.

Great quality and easy to clean
I love this set! I was looking for a good set that wasn’t full of all of the chemicals and nonstick toxic junk and came across these. They cost a little more than the typical nonstick junk, but they’re heavy duty and the set has everything I need. I was worried about them being difficult to clean but they’re not at all and I’ve learned as long as the pan is hot enough when cooking, the food doesn’t stick at all!

Beautiful pans
Beautiful, haven't had the opportunity to use them yet. In the middle of our remodel . Will update when I get a chance to finally use them

Great set of pots
Lighter than allclad. Very well built. Easy to use handles. Good does not burn. Good sometime sticks to bottom but steel wool 0000 will remove and restore interior.

Love Our Tramontina Cookware Set!
We did quite a bit of research checking out different brands, grades, and really wanting to understand the differences in the better grade stainless steel options before we decided on Tramontina. It wasn’t on the lower end or higher end but in the middle as far as pricing goes for really good quality steel and we are more than happy with our purchase. We looked up how to care for our stainless steel, how to cook eggs and other foods alike to avoid issues with sticking and even learned there’s a way you can season your pans to cook with and well to say the least - we love our cookware, and are really glad we made the change to steel and found Tramontina! We have had our set for a whole month now and we love the quality of the set.

Stainless INSIDE The Pot Chipped, Seriously?!
Wish I had a way to take a picture and show it (I do not own a camera nor cell phone), I'm VERY disappointed now. Tiny marks appeared in the bottom of my 3 quart saucepan, didn't think anything of it at first. Put salt in a stainless pot before it is completely heated, and a tiny mark or two might show up. But they are only marks, and do not hurt the functionality nor safety of the pot. Salt marks was what I thought until I washed my saucepan (by hand, as always), and was then drying it... I could feel that mark, which with a magnifier, I realized was a tiny pit in the stainless - the metal had "chipped"/"pitted", and I only use nylon and plastic-type utensils to cook with but am left with a useless pot!Below is how I originally wrote my review for this cookware. I'm now torn between whether to even continue using the remaining pieces, or purchasing an entirely different brand and set. :(~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~Yep, the box and the set are marked Made In Brazil, but there is an error, somewhere, as the "5 Qt Covered Deep Sauté Pan" I received in my 12 piece set is actually a 6 quart, just sayin not complainin. Been using my new cookware for almost a week now, several pieces every day. All those "rainbow marks" and such that stainless will get when you cook? A small bit of Bar Keepers Friend, and they're gone. But I don't need BKF often, as I wash by hand and the set cleans up very nicely. For those who know how to cook with stainless, this set performs as it should, it's fabulous! The pieces do have some weight to them, as they should since this is higher quality cookware. I haven't needed mitts for the pot handles, but the lid handles generally do need protected fingers to manage them (that means, yes, the lid handles usually become too warm to comfortably hold on to). I'm very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend!
