Beautiful set of pans
I had researched different brands for awhile before deciding on this brand to replace my cheap, non-set pans. I got the 10 piece set and this set is made in Brazil unlike the cheaper version and can withstand higher temperatures. These pans are beautiful and heavy, just what I wanted. I cooked eggs in the frying pan so far and I had ZERO sticking. The pans nest together good enough for my tight space. The only downside to this set is the lids aren't glass but I have other glass lids. I like to see how they are cooking without removing. Overall I'm very happy with this set and it was a great value!

Great at a great price
I use these on an induction range and couldn't be happier.Solid, sturdy, practical set. Really nice finish on the stainless steel and it cleans easily.Yes you can spend more, but unless you are a pro, I think you'd be wasting money.

You need these!!!
If you are questioning whether or not to do it, you def should! This is my first stainless steal set and it is amazing! They are non toxic which is what I was looking for. First, I want to start by saying this is a beautiful set. I have an induction cook top and these are perfect for it. They heat up very quickly and I only have to put it on medium heat. They are dishwasher safe and oven safe. All of them had matching lids. They are easy to clean. These are very heavy duty and weigh a bit more than normal pots.

🙂 What We Wanted But Not What We Ordered 🤔
This seller (Home Solutions for You) is either very crafty or...something else. TLDR: Too early to say how this will hold up over time. Looks great, seems sturdy, checks many or all of the boxes we had BUT what was delivered didn't match what we ordered. YMMV, order the 14 pc directly from Sam's Club if the differences don't matter to you, as I describe below. We ordered the 12-pc thru Amazon 3rd party but had the 14 pc from Sam's delivered. Crafty switcheroo by this seller. The 14 pc from Sam's costs $100 less (than we paid) but may be of equal or greater value to the 12 pc Gourmet. We looked at replacements for our 15-year old Teflon set that we got on our wedding registry. We looked at ceramic and other non-stick options but settled on stainless steel as a safer and longer-lasting option. The reviewers at Wirecutter and America's Test Kitchen recommended Tramontina sets, which is how we got here. There are mixed reviews on Amazon for Tramontina many related to whether the sets came from Brazil or China. We ordered the 12 pc Gourmet set thru a 3rd party seller on Amazon. Via overnight, we received the non-gourmet 14-piece Tramontina (Members Mark) directly from Sam's Club. It just so happens that we also ordered a 10 piece gourmet set directly from Best Buy, so we actually have a basis for comparison. There are a similarities and differences between the non-gourmet 14 pc Tramontina from Sam's Club vs the Gourmet. First, yes the 14 piece pans and pots are marked as Made in Brazil if that's important. The lids of both sets are stainless steel and both say they can go into the oven to 550°. The range and variety of the pots and pans are sightly different from the 10 piece. They both say they're induction compatible and are mirror-finshed. Obviously, more pieces in the 14 pc set, some more useful to our family.Overall, the 14 piece set has a riveted handle that is more rounded on its bottom and that are affixed to the pots/pans like the edge of a triangle. Whereas the riveted handles from the Gourmet set are riveted to the pots/pans like the horizontally flattened edges of a two-pronged fork. The 8, 10, and (and 12-inch) saute pans in the 14-piece set slope from the pan surface into a straight-edge. The edges of the gourmet pans are flared like for pouring. It seems that the first area of those pans are similar if not the same. The non-gourmet saute pans are somewhat heavier than their counterpart gourmet pans. I could see why someone would want flared edges and less weight in a pan. Maybe the flared edges would also be better for dissipating heat. Generally, the pots are similar in weight in both sets. The diameter of the pots and pans are the same comparing similar volume pots and pans in each set. Perhaps the lid handles of the Gourmet set are solid stainless steel whereas the lid handles of the non-gourmet may be hollow but it's difficult to know, see or tell from three external appearance. We're going to keep the 14 piece set. It has greater value for us but I would be careful ordering these sets if not directly from Tramontina or Amazon as a seller. (Or buy the 14 piece non-Gourmet from Sam's Club directly and pay less.)

Great Non Toxic Option and Easy to Learn to Cook With
I picked these pans to be our families long term use pans. We used to have teflon and I wanted something less toxic. No better way to go than stainless steel. Tramontina is a trusted brand in a relatives home so I decided to give them a try. My husband was skeptical of stainless steel because of the learning curve that comes with usage to avoid food sticking. We quickly got the hang of it! They’re really not as finicky as people try to say. Cleaning can be tricky and what we found helpful is to use soap and water, then swirl vinegar in it, then rinse with water again. Keeps it looking shiny and new.

Defective pans and pots set.
I received this set of pots and pans on November 2024. They have been a terrible disappointment. Everything I cook in the pans it sticks. No matter what I use to grease the pans. I used low heat, non stick spray, butter, margarine, and oil. The results are always the same. The food gets stuck to the pans and it is impossible to wash unless I let it soaked for a couple of hours in warm water and even then it is very hard to clean. I am just now complaining 8 months after receiving the set because give up. No matter what I do the food still gets stuck to the pan. I cannot afford to buy another brand of pans. I am requesting that a different set of this same brand be send to me. Perhaps, it is just this specific set that is defective.
