I would provide photos of how bad my fingers were before I started using this product, but it was rather grisly. I have sever skin picking disorder and it focuses around my cuticles and can travel up my fingers and around to the finger pads. It starts with picking and moves into biting. It's something I've always struggled with and fought but couldn't figure out deterrents other than lotion to try to help healing and smooth out rough spots to not trigger the cycle. NIXXIT has been a major miracle, it stops the OCD cycle for me and has given my hands time to heal. I keep it on constantly, and as the cycles have been stopped, I only need to spot treat for flare ups.One tube has lasted me about 6 months. I started buying several and the twin pack to keep with me literally everywhere I may think to use it to keep up on it, so I'm never without when I'm in need. This little tool has given me control again, I'm not afraid of infection, I'm not afraid of people seeing my hands, I'm not in pain. I can't recommend this enough for people who struggle with similar issues or nail biting. It tastes AWFUL (which is perfect), and it's convenient. It doesn't hurt on open wounds to boot.

As a person who is heavily addicted to biting my nails, I am the kind who can even withstand some sour taste to get my nails bitten. However, I have become more aware of my bad habit, which comes with some shame. I've committed myself to stop it. This product has very positive aspects; its design is discrete, easy to apply, and doesn't spread to unwanted areas. The only problem is the small amount it comes with. It lasted just ten days with me! I am sad. I need to reapply frequently because I wash my hands often and as my habit is strong, I need to have it always so I don't bite them. The fact it goes off easily is good because we can take it off before eating, and bad. After all, it always goes off. I wouldn't ask for this to be harder to go off, because it would be a headache to need to take it off and not be able too. I would ask tough for a aways to refuel the pen, or a bigger amount.

Complete waste of money. I got only 2 applications out of it, and the brush would only dampen after 25 or more clicks. Maybe mine had been sitting on shelf in a warehouse for too long, and possibly the solution had either dried up or leaked out. I loved the and wanted to like this, but for the same money, one could buy a bottle of brush-on that get 50x more product. I will say the product itself works and is comparable to other similarly bitter tasting products, but only if you actually get any with your delivery. Unfortunately, 2 applications is not enough.

I have been biting my nails ever since I was a little girl. As I got older, I realized just how bad it was! But for some reason, I would bite and not even realize it! This was now a bad habit! I had the worst taste in my mouth that lasted a while even after drinking water, and at that moment, I knew I did not want to have that taste again! So I continued to apply day and night every day and made sure I was consistent. Two weeks later, my stubbed fingers now have beautiful, strong, naturally growing nails, and I look at my hand and admire the growth and willpower not to bite!

Just received this product , I ask my son to wash his hands and I apply the product to his nails. My son don’t have a problem with bad taste so I ask him to go ahead and bite your nails now lol!!! Well he did and it’s been about 5 minutes of screaming and hollering because the taste is still in his mouth. I will be back with an update in about 1 week.
