Just taken up painting again so wanted paints to get me started and these are a good choice for beginners.

I’ve yet to use these properly but so far, they’re quite good. They are quite transparent and you need more than one layer to get a vivid colour which makes sense as this is a cheap set with a lot of colours.I will be leaving a better review once I’ve played with them more but so far I’d say they’re good for beginners.

This is a lovely set and such wonderful vibrant colours. I haven't tried them for calligraphy, but they are great for colouring-in books and for painting your own picture on watercolour paper. They react like normal watercolours in that you can dilute the colours with the refillable water brush or you can wet the watercolour paper first. They also seem to mix well which can give a whole set of new shades to try out. I don't know how long they will last but - hey, what more can you expect for such a small price. Great for any age.

Lovely paint set but each colour is approx 1cm square and in my opinion not suitable for young children, too hard to use. Sent it back.

The media could not be loaded. These paints are pretty dang good. Im not artist by any means but ive been exploring watercolor for about a year now. And I had a shopping habit lol. So I've test quite a few cheaper paint these by far are the best so far. I put them right about winsor and newton cotman set. They're right up there with the koi in vibrancy. I haven't used them in a painting yet. But from just switching them I can already tell they are going to be my go to paints

There are many color options and they write very smoothly. This goes for any brush pen, do not push to hard or you will not be able to get the small calligraphy font that you desire. But with these pens if you do push too hard it was very easy to put back into place, you just use the pen and it will fall right back into place. Overall, I got these pens late may and the color is still strong and very bright I think the color will last a really long time. I highly recommend these pens for any beginners at calligraphy.

I shared these paints with my Library Art group...good results and unexpected quality for the price.
