This part fit 'Perfectly' on my Traxxas Rustler 2WD Xl5 (now brushless).I was a bit skeptical about this part due to all the negative reviews about the mounting holes not lining up & or hole being stripped.But, I went ahead & tried it knowing that I have ordered other Hobbypark parts & had good luck with them. I'm glad I did!! The part fit perfectly onto my Traxxas Rustler 2WD Xl5 car. Everything lined up perfectly. Threaded holes were smooth & precise. A note on assembly, always do a dry fit with screws on parts like these. Put the screws into each hole to make sure it threads in nicely & then remove. Afterwards, when you're ready to assemble, do yourself a favor & use threadlock (Loctite 242) on the screws. These screws are going into an aluminum threaded part, you don't want to over torque the screws & strip the mounting holes & the threadlocker will keep your screws from becoming undone.Remember, aluminum may be a metal, but it's still a softer metal, so stripping threads is quite easy. So treat it gently, like a virgin lol.All in all, I definitely would recommend this part for a Traxxas Rustler 2WD Xl5 car at least.My moto, 'Break It, Fix It, Run It... Repeat'

I'm building a Rustler from scratch. This piece works well with the Hobbypark shock tower, aftermarket hinge pins and RPM control arms. This part caused no problems with compatibility making it better than the parts I've purchased from bigger names.

Looks great love the color, and everything bolted right up. Almost no weight difference between the plastic and the aluminum.

Works as expected with a little color

I am not sure if the price I received was just a fluke but the points where the a-arms mount to were way off. One side was thicker than the other and the suspension bound up like crazy. Due to my impatience I had to file a substantial amount of material away to even make it work. I wish I would have just returned or exchanged the item.
